Audleys Wood Hotel

We have just celebrated our daughter's (& new son-in-law!) wedding at Audleys Wood. What can I say - it was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Many of our guests were arriving from various parts of the country so the majority arrived on the Friday prior to the wedding on Saturday.
We organised a 'hot finger' buffet for the Friday evening which was excellent and well received. Saturday was a wonderful day but, as normal, was over far too quickly. The staff were most attentive - a special thank you to Mike, the Master of Ceremonies, who couldn't have done anymore for the bride and to Emma, the wedding co-ordinator, who has been superb throughout.
The ceremony was 'special' and the gallery was ideal for this purpose, but once over, it was transformed into an idyllic restaurant for the wedding breakfast. The food was sensational and people commented on how they had thoroughly enjoyed the meal (which arrived at the table 'nice and hot'). The staff were courteous, happy and nothing was too much trouble for them. The evening disco/buffet was held in the Pavilion and this was also well received with an excellent cold buffet.
All-in-all, we just cannot fault this venue. The rooms were spacious, clean and impressive. The Jane Austen suite is a great choice for the bridal party.
My hubby and I have spent a few weekends at Audleys Wood prior to the wedding and have never been disappointed. I hasten to say - we will be back again!!
