Ionis Hotel

Tripadvisor member. Stayed 5 days and found the hotel very conveniently placed although wouldn't recommend taking heavy luggage by Metro as the walk( while not long) is difficult for the mature travellers like us ( I'm 80) Staff friendly and helpful-we had a transport strike the day we left and they checked flights for us and managed to get us a taxi in spite of a hugemdemand for them. Room was clean and large enough,we had a back room and heard hardly any noise. Would use this hotel again

Stayed in the end of June,2005. Staff is unpolite, but acceptable... Finally, after 20 min, they found a place to accomodate bicycles (in the luggage room, they question is why not to put them there instantly?). Rooms are OK, bathroom is one of the best of all hotels I stayed in Greece. Breakfast is good to - not too wide choise, but enought to have a good meal. 3* - yes, it's 3* hotel.

There Sept 2004 - Room ok - but very hot - A/C is just a fan blowing air. It was quiet and beds ok - pretty clean so it was acceptable - The hotel is hard to find and is in a rougher area, but felt perfectly safe coming and going 6 am to 10 pm.

i stayed at this hotel on march 2003 and it was ok. the hotel is located in not such a great part of town. there were shops close to it and an outdoor market close by good for shopping. the hotel food wasnt that great. the rooms were pretty roomy and the bathrooms were big too.

The rooms are small and pricey. The bathrooms were even smaller and dingy. There was no A/C, just a fan that blew hot air. The staff was nice. I think Hotel Attalos is nicer and cheaper and in a better location.
