Formule 1 Bordesley Circus Hotel

I loved this place, like a second home to me, the rooms are really spacious and i alwasy bagsey the bunk bed!! really nice views from the windows and the showers are a treat! I would definitly recommend this hotel

I stayed here with my dad as we were on a cheap budget, and I will never stay here again.... We went to the football, and it was a cold night, as soon as we were in the ground, we began to warm up, but we thought, to put heating on as soon as we got back, heating wasnt working.. we complained, and got put in another room, it was dirty, so we thoguht to just leave it and stay in there... WONT BE GOING EVER AGAIN THERE!

Stayed here back in 2006,so thought would stay here again as its not far from the Godskitchen nightclub,anyway,first thing noticable was the reception had gone & you had to check in at the neighbouring Ibis,first thing not happy with was the front door catch which is supposed to be opened by a swipe card,was broke,so anyone couldve got in. Once in the room,my partner found some unclean rubbish on the floor & A filthy stain on the floor which looked recent but no effort in cleaning it,the communal toilets were grotty &v some missing toilet... more

Can I first say that I have stayed in some pretty rough places in my time particularly when using hostels etc while travelling but I have NEVER encountered anything as bad as this. The room was absolutely filthy -human hair and thick layers of dust all the way round he room, huge stains on the carpet next to the bed and marksf from some sort of knife set into the window frame. I would not stay here again. My friend booked it as we wanted to see the town centre-but found it definately is not walking distance from New Street/ Bull ring centre, however is within easy reach of the M1 motorway with its own parking so its good for people who just want a quick stop over. The current price is £25 per night-and although brilliant value, with clean bedding, a comfortable bed, and in a quiet location-thats all it was. Location: 15-20 minutes walk to Bullring and main town, otherwise 2-3 stops with a local bus. That's a plus. It's also close to the bus to the airport Room: basic with sink and desk but not very clean, as all the formule 1 no toilets or shower in the room. Just back from a night here with 5 friends we had two rooms which each sleep 3 people, Its very basic but not bad for £8pp a night, better than a hostel as you get your own room. there is sink in your room 1 double bed and a single bunk above it. There is also a seat and a TV. No toilet or shower in the room, they are down the corridor and are shared with the other guests. I never used the shower but the toilet was fine and clean. Stayed here at the beginning for February for one night. Selected this hotel as it was the cheapest place to stay for three people. We was given a room on the 2nd floor at the end of the corridor. Well, first of all I have to say that this place is really, really cheap and that the two members of staff we met were very pleasant and helpful, especially the nice French lady. The rooms are 24.95 GBP and sleep 2 or 3 people, in a double bed plus an upper bunk. In fact, if you've ever stayed at an Etap hotel then the rooms are identical here except for the fact that they are not en-suite. I have stayed here many times and overall i can say that this basic but clean and friendly motel gives its guests a clean comfortable pad, a comfortable bed, hot showers, clean toilets. Rooms are basically furnished and lack any real space to hang clothes etc but these re minor indiscretions. In your room there is a bed with clean bedding, TV, wash basin, the room can accomodate a maximum of 3 persons. Given that this is a BUDGET hotel, you will find that the hotel attracts groups of young people etc but dont let this put you off,... more
