Right to start off with im a kid so I have a different point of view, the adults will be much more different than mine I'm not sure that i am old enough to go on this but what the heck. For kids the apartments are really good they have a little well big tent where the entertainment is ( Thomas Cook two games rooms and there are pool tables all around the mini village the foods great its all you can ever wish for and there is a zoo/safari park practically right next to the apartments there is water parks petrol go-karts, all sorts so enjoy Bouganvillan

Just back from Bouganvilla with my boyfriend. After reading the reviews about this place I was a bit worried. But please dont listen to anybody that says dont go to this hotel. Its a 3 star hotel what do people expect!!! The entertainment team were the best, they put all effort into daytime activities and evening activities! Rooms were ok, bit small but we had a studio so that was to be expected! The place is cleaned all the time! food ok get bit fed up on same stuff! Staff really friendly especially the girl waiter at big top!!! Really good for families as they do childrens hour every day and childrens club! Sa Coma is a really nice place to! I would recommend going to see Pirates Adventure it was one of the best shows I have ever seen. All in all this hotel is really nice for a 3 star and great for people of all ages!

Having read some of the negative comments on here and other places we were a bit worried about going to this hotel. What a surprise when we got there, I cannot understand what some people expect, the place was spotless and in a very nice setting. The pool area was fabulous and clean, the food although not a vast choice was very nice and well presented. The room was really good with air con and a nice balcony overlooking the pool area, the cleaning was done to a very good standard. All the staff were courteous and helpful, the one thing that put me off unfortunately were the ignorant british(english) tourists some of whom were extremely rude to staff and made me glad to be welsh. I would certainly return to this hotel, our party consisted of 5 adults and one child in 3 rooms, all inclusive, each room had its own kitchen area with fridge and hob with kettle etc. It is certainly for families with good facilities and 8 pools for the kids. Having travelled extensively I have stayed in many hotels and will give an honest and frank opinion each time. This was a very enjoyable stay.

We spent the second and third week of September at the Bouganvilla, this was our second visit and we had a fantastic time again ! I can see what people mean by Blackpool in the sun but out of season the place is not as busy and sun loungers are not a problem ! The place is very clean, the pools cleaned twice a day all staff pleasant and helpfull, we whent with Grandparents and a 3 yr old and were given again a ground floor 2 bed apartment which was perfectly adiquate for our needs, we met some lovely people who had children the same age as our daughter and they all whent to the kids club together which was free this year while we sat and sunbathed in peace for a few hours ! If you dont want to eat in the same place each night then dont go all inclusive !! we ate out every night at a different restaurant we even whent over to calla millor which is only 7 euros in a taxi and ate at lovely restaurants, The beach is lovely in Sa Come and the bus is a great idea and runs every half hour, if you dont want to pay the expensive brolly hire them buy one !! we bought 2 for 4 euros each and beach mats at 1 euro each so we whent to beach for free ! a holiday is what you make it !!

We would not hesitate to go back again its a lovely resort which caters for all ages.

My Husband and i have just retuurned from the Bouganvilla Appts and what a relief! We had not booked this complex originally, but our holiday with XL the previous week was cancelled and this was the only place that they had to offer. Upon arrival we were given a map to find our accomadation, the apartment was very basic and tired looking with no air conditioning,we were in time for dinner which was ok that night, but although it was only 7 30 there was not much choice left.I cannot find any positive to say about this place,we were just glad to escape after one week. The Bouganvilla is just like Butlins set on a rough council estate! Most of the guests have a serious weight and drink problem or mental health problems. The food is horrible and never hot and the restaurant is hot and very noisy, staff are clearing up around you while you are trying to eat,it is not at all a nice relaxing experience.

Drinks are watered down, the outside barbeque is just a small grill.Rooms are supposed to be cleaned, however the sheets are not changed or floor swept. It is very noisy all the time.

It rained on two days so we were marooned with nowhere to go,so most of the guests took the oppurtunity to get themselves drunk! PLEASE do not go to this horrible place.

This was a good holiday ,it had plenty of things to do during the day for kids and the adults could join in as well. There was always entertainment on every night starting with things for the kids and then for the whole family. The entertainment staff and the resort staff were very helpful and friendly.

There was plenty of areas where you could get food and drinks.

The resort also has its own train which takes you into the centre of Sa Coma which is free of charge.

We enjoyed this holiday so much we are going back in October 2008.

Don't waste your money visiting this hotel....... Sa Coma itself has a beautiful beach but this is the only positive thing i can say about our holiday. In our party there were 6 adults and a 14 month old baby, the food was awful especially for our son as they expect all children to eat chicken nuggets and chips, I only saw a potatoe on the last day of our holiday. There is an a la carte restaurant which we only managed to visit once as if you go all inclusive you have to book at 3pm the day before and the queue was always huge and only about 4 tables available, however when we did eat there the food was lovely. The pool area wasn't cleaned the whole time we were there, our apartments were cleaned regularly though with clean towels. The other people that visit this hotel aren't who I would choose to spend any time with, it was like a council estate in the sun, if you've ever seen the programme Benidorm then that is the typical family you can expect to find there.

OVER RATED, WE WENT ALL INCLUSIVE (our first time at this level) AND I WS SICK OF EATING IN THE SAME RESTAURANT, MORNING, NOON, AND NIGHT, THE FOOD WAS OK BUT NOTHING TO CRACK HOME ABOUT. THE THOMAS COOK REPS WERE ALL UP THERE OW BACKSIDES ALL YOUNG, AND DID NOT HAVE A CLUE. THE CLEANING WAS NO GOOD. OUR ROOMS WERE NOT CLEANED ALL WEEK WE HAD TO DEMAND AND THAT WAS RINGING RECP 3 TIMES TO GET A CLEANER ON THE 5TH DAY AND CHANGE TOWELS, HOWEVER OUR BEDDING WAS NOT CHANGED, SAME SHEETS ALL WEEK.. ENTERTAINMENT WAS NOT VERY GOOD WE SAW 2 GOOD ACTS THE REST WAS THE TC REPS SINGING WHICH WAS CRAP. THE MOST HARD WORKING THERE WAS THE BAR STAFF AND RESTAURANT STAFF. THE LARGE POOL WAS OVERCROWDED. WE WERE OVERCHARGED ON DAY TRIPS. WENT TO THE BEACH AND WAS OVERCHRGED FOR SUN LOUNGERS 27 EUROS FOR 4. PLEASE THINK CARE FULLY ABOU THIS COMPLEX AND DO NOT GO WITH THOMAS COOK. WOULD WE GO A GAIN?? A RESOUNDING NO.

To top it all off, our TC chartered airline (FUTURA) went bust the day we arrived, but it took TC 5 days to inform us, we had to pay for our extra time in the accom, our all inclusive status was canceled, so had to pay for our food and drinks utill a alternative flight home could be found. The reps at the airport we usless, we ended up standing in three different que's for over two and half hours before we could get to the departure lounge, just made it to the departure gate with minutes to spare.

THOMAS COOKE WANT TO HANG THEIR HEADS IN SHAME AT TREATING THERE PAYING CUSTOMERS LIKE THIS.

I had not been all inclusive before and was not sure what to expect. I was pleasently surprised. All the food was great, plenty of varitey and catered for everyone including the kids. The rooms were very clean and changed every other day. The pool area was lovely and great for the kids, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The beach is a 15 min walk but the train leaves Bouganvilla every half hour so its not really an issue, unless your really lazy!!! The transfer is a bit of a bind esp, with small children, but all in all I couldnt fault it and would definately stay there again. Thanks for a fab hol Bouganvilla!!!

Me and my boyfriend had a week holiday in sept. We had a lovely time.

Weather was brilliant and not much to dislike.

Room was very clean, had nice clean towels everyday. Bed sheets were changed regurally. Pool area and pool itself was clean. We were able to get sunbeds everyday with out any trouble.

One problem was the resort location. Its a good walk to the main town, there is a train every half hour which is good, and no where local sells cigarettes only in the main town (and the shop shuts on a sunday).

As we were self catering we noticed that a lot of things were quite expensive. the supermarket in the town is cheaper but like i said its a good walk back ( you cant catch the train back from there).

The euro exchange was a little better over in mallorca then in britain. It was 1.20 for the euro.

The beach was nice and clean, sea was warm enough to venture into.

Theres a little castle not far fr om the beach but its a little walk so take some water.

The White Lion is a must for any meal of the day. Brilliant food at decent prices and very good hospitality.

This being our 3rd year to Bouganvilla we were totally disappointed as hi hotels have now taken over from Global and the cleanliness has gone down hill badly. Sheets were not changed for the week we were there, even though my 3 year old grandson had spilt blackcurrant juice on them. Pool not as clean as it always was as there was sand in it and paper floating and leaves and cigarette butts surrounding pool. This used to be hosed down every night along with sunbeds and never seen it done once while we were there. Never before had we seen a cockroach and this year, one in the shop and one by the pool. Entertainment not as good, as neither were the entertainment staff. They were good with the kids when mini disco was on but did not acknowledge them when walking past them on complex. Global entertainment staff never passed them without a high five or a chat of some sort. Too many all inclusive this year lead to queues at restaurant and bar, and poolside bar was closed from beginning of September, which only left main bar during the day. Because of queues we ate and drank elsewhere which was disappointing. This has made us look at other resorts although we will always have happy memories of the bouganvilla in the past.

Me and my girlfriend have just returned from a 1 week holiday at the bouganvilla, and we couldn't really fault anything. the food was great, plenty of variety. the hotel receptionists were very polite and helpful, and the place was kept very clean as well as the apartments. the beach is about a kilometre away, but its a nice walk down to the beach, and if you don't want to walk, there is a free train every 30 minutes.

the beach is one of the best beaches i have ever visited.

the only faults i could find was the entertainment at night was a bit naff on a couple of nights, but there was also some very good entertainment.

and also the bar by the main pool usually had a big Que in the day time, probably down to a shortage of bar staff. but at night we didn't have to Que to long at the bar in the big top.

me and my girlfriend will definitely stay at the bouganvilla again, and will also be taking my kids.
