everage hotel with rude staff.
from sophielou
When I first arrived at this hotel I wasn't expecting top quality accommodation considering the cost of staying there. HOWEVER: The rooms The room was absolutely tiny and the beds weren't the most comfortable i've slept in but absolutely fine for the two nights i stayed there. the bathroom was adequate with a bath and shower combo which was nice. tea and coffee making facilities provided. There were quite alot of stains on the ceiling and wall which was a bit disgusting really but i put up with it. i certainly wouldn't give room...

Does exactly what it says on the tin
from haute-epoque
Booked this Ibis hotel at the last moment after Park Plaza let me down by letting go of my reserved and credit card-guaranteed reservation. Basic, but comfortable, clean, and staff efficient and polite-enough. Okay, I won't be making it a hotel of choice - but it does the job.
Nice place, but be prepared to roast
from DeanoFromLeeds
I stayed for 5 days during the heatwave in early June. (I live locally but had the builders in.) For the price, the room was good. Spotlessly clean, firm bed, mini-kettle/tea/coffee, etc. Amazing compact bathroom 'module' in the corner. 14 TV channels including a lot of duplication -- but you can watch it in the bathroom mirror as you get washed. Very pleasant staff in Reception -- the young Indian lady was most helpful when I reported a problem with the 'air conditioning' unit. And there was the only real criticism: YOU do not control...

Cheap and very cheerful
from Claire_Wilde
The Ibis Leeds is a very new hotel, and feels it. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the shower was excellent. The bed was comfortable, if a little hard, but this was fine for us. Rooms are very reasonably priced, and my only gripe is that the "parking" advertised on the hotel website is actually an uncovered city centre car park, accessed only by crossing a busy main road.
Not bad
from mailmannz
A box with a bed and a great shower about sums it up. Nice place for a short stop over but if I was going to spend an extended time in Leeds Id go somewhere a bit more well appointed. For our purposes though the hotel was great value. The shower was absolutely fantastic and our rooms were spotless! Great for the price, couldnt be beaten for a short stay. We arrived after 1am and the security guy let us in and got us all checked in quickly and without hassle.
Pretty good overall
from justclassicmgfan
Stayed here for just one night on 12th November, for a night out in Leeds. We had no problems checking in; it was efficient and quick. The rooms are small and pretty basic but it was clean & tidy. The shower cubicle in the corner of the room was great ! They have security staff on the doors after a certain time to stop just anyone walking through the door (you have to show your room key), BUT you couldn't get an alcoholic drink after midnight ! Not even as a resident ! Which kind of annoyed me a bit. Anyway, the English...

Very good value
from ChirpyCharlie
For the price this hotel was above average at £49 a room per night best value hotel in leeds. easy to find and not far from City centre at all. We will stay here. Only problem crossing to the car park at 8.30 on a Monday morning. It took about half an hour to cross the road.
Nice Rooms, Poor Service
from A TripAdvisor Member
Om paper this seems a good value hotel. It has a reasonably central location (about 15/20 minutes walk from the centre) and is reasonably priced and the rooms are well decorated and modern. Major problem is poor service on a number of levels: 1. Dirty toilet 2. Toilet rolls not replenished 3. Lenthy queues and form-filling at check-in 4. Check-in inefficient (I had reserved a room and given my reservation details but I still got a phone call waking me at 11.30pm. Ibis Leeds:Ibis Leeds, do I still want my room...

Whilst this hotel is described as City Centre, it is a fair distance from the centre near University, Hotels & offices. Breakfast was for us between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. only and dinner was from 7 pm to 8 pm. with the proviso that we had to be there 7 pm. prompt. On this... more
