Holiday Inn Bexley Hotel

Rooms = fairly pleasant (with the exception of some unusual stains on the sofa) Bar = dark and dingy, not enough seating, didn't feel the urge to use my free drink voucher Restaurant = uninviting, but serviceable, by the looks of it (I didn't partake) staff = ok car parking = lots, but charged for. From the moment you arrive to the time you check out, staff are very good, polite and make the stay a good one. Rooms are clean and tidy, the bar area is also good. Breakfast was excellent. Parking is free and ample. Close to M25 and routes to London. Would I use it again and recommend it to others....Yes.

As we go x-mas shopping each year (my mum and I), we have stayed at this hotel for the 3rd time. Once in November and twice in December. It is situated on the A2 south of London and ideal when you have been shopping at the Bluewater shopping centre (or perhaps in London?). Shop all day at Bluewater and then go for the night to this hotel, it's only a 10 minute drive and easy to find. Good value if you book via internet or their own website. Currently being renovated but seemingy little at a time so no disruption. Does not have a gymn or pool BUT there are some nice paths along Cray River Walk nearby for a morning run or evening stroll. Do not discount this hotel if visiting London for a weekend - cheap rates & 10 minute walk to nearby station make it an interesting option. Also near Hall Place & William Morris House so few things to see withou moving far. Service, evening meal & breakfast all OK, sometimes service is better than others (ranges from OK to good)

Average room. Good bar area. A good place to stop for a night, if you don't expect too much. Staff were very pleasant.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Bexley just for the purpose to spend the night for an extensive shopping spree at nearby Bluewater shopping centre. Therefore we didn't expect anything exceptional. The lobby is somewhat small and cramped which became a slight obstacle as there was a goup of business travellers about to check in for a convention next day.
