While Porto Colom is a nice place it has no entertainment and very little for the tourist. Club Cecelia is on the other side of Porto Colom in Cala Marcal and is reached by descending a very steep hill. If you go into Porto Colom you have to time it carefully as the day I went there by the 11am bus I did not realise that I would not be able to get a bus back until 4pm. As the town has little to keep you occupied you have to get a taxi back or walk which I would not advise. In Cala Marsal there is one Chinese restaurant, which offers a good two course meal for about 7 Euros. However a glass of coke will cost you about 6 euros. The accommodation was very basic but clean. Only one supermarket, which was quite expensive.

Having seen the brochures and websites we feel that we have been severely misled and feel particularly let down by the tour operators rating of the hotel. It was by no stretch of the imagination a 4* apartment. The entire complex had a 2* feel about it. The whole experience from the restaurant (not unlike a canteen) to the faulty wiring and lack of any warm water at peak times-to name but a few! We were left feeling cheated and would certainly not recommend this accommodation to anyone!
