Lovely hotel in a peaceful location. Porto Colom is relatively unspoiled, therefore not suitable for anyone looking for a lively, razzmatazz of a holiday.
The hotel is situated on a 3 corner site, it was clean, and public areas well maintained. The deeper swimming pool was lovely for us as we both like to swim. Plenty of sunbeds available.
We liked the pool towel exchange system, and found staff helpful around the hotel.
The food was excellent, offering a wide choice at both breakfast and evening dinner.
Have a hire car if you want to see something of the island, or visit nearby Cala D'Or for shopping therapy or a bit more of a lively environment.

I stayed here for 1 week on a half board basis with my wife and 2 children aged 7 and 4).
Positives:
Check in process was excellent
Pools are great for adults and children
There was no mad rush for sun beds
Room cleaning staff were very efficient
All staff throughout provided excellent quality service
Rooms were spacious
Location quite with no loud idiots at night
Great views from hotel
Animation team offered good low key entertainment for kids
Negatives:
Rooms needed updating
Air con struggled
Food was absolutely terrible; this is not a comment that is based on personal taste as everybody likes different things. The food was greasy and hard to establish what it was. We had to eat out a few times as soggy chips and stale bread was not enough.
Overall, the hotel and staff were good and location suitable if you hire a car. I am sure that the food will not improve but the hotel is not expensive and therefore value for money even if you opt to eat out. Book direct in order to get good deals.
