Very well furnished hotel. Excellent staff and well fitted out. Lovely food and wide selection at reasonable rates.
Pool is first class and there is an indoor one too which adds to the relaxation.
Small restaurants within easy walking distance.
Regular bus service close by.
Well recommended. Suits all ages.
Weather was very nice at that time of year and outdoor pool could be used comfortably.
The outdoor bar area was not open and this was a bit of a disappointment but it did not detract from the holiday.

We were very disappointed with the hotel, for 5 star - the whole place looked shabby and very tired.
Wallpaper coming off the walls, dirty carpets, stained paint work, thread bear towels, wholes in tablecloths, stained ceilings, and rubbish in the garden - not 5 star material in any way.
There is nothing to do around the hotel, despite the brochure saying so, only one bar. Buses are good to get around and cheap, which is lucky otherwise you could go insane as the spa was also broken during our stay. Sliema, Valetta, Gozo, Mdine and Mosta all worth a visit.
Rickshaw restaurant is brilliant, has some atmosphere that the rest of the hotel sorely lacks.

The restaurants are very nice and offer a good selection of food at a reasonable price. If you are lucky, in April you can still take advantage of the winter rates for dining - by buying a 4 meal ticket.
The Chinese restaurant was particular good value.
The hotel has a variety of fitness areas - outdoor and indoor pools, gyms etc.
The outdoor pool is kept clean and has an adjacent bar. Towels can be collected for the indoor pool for use outside.
Staff were generally very helpful and polite. The hotel runs a free minibus into town.
