Reviews of Playsol Apartments, Sa Coma

Good points- rooms very clean and spacious towels and sheets changed every other day. Sa Coma lovely for family’s fantastic beach. nice bars and restaurants.



Bad points- on the 1st day of our holiday we could not understand why towels weren’t laid out at the pool area by midday. We soon realised why! The pool its self was the most unclean pool I’ve ever come across full of leaves and dirt and scum from sun cream all round the edges.



The sunlounges were covered in brown wet filth as was the play area as my son discovered after he went down the slide and his white shorts were brown! We since found out that fellow holidaymakers were using the facilities elsewhere. We did however complain and they did make a somewhat halfhearted effort to clean it up and mutter it was because of the weather!



We were there for 2 weeks and witnessed the pool being cleaned twice the whole time. Also whenever we went for snacks in the daytime there would be a sign at the bar saying closed. They were apparently short staffed!

We have been to Sa Coma before, but stayed in a very unpleasant placed called Europa Apartments, which were extremely dirty, and would not let my worst enemy stay there and that’s saying something. We decided to book another holiday in Sa Coma but in a different Hotel/Apts to get the real benefit from this destination. We booked with Ideal Holidays who in turned booked Playasol Apts and can honesty say it was a joy to stay there. We were greeted by friendly staff on reception and proceeded to our room which I found to be extremely clean and tidy with the added bonus of a toaster and kettle without any hidden charges thrown in.



We were only there for a week but our towels were changed 5 times in one week and the apartment was cleaned three times.



As we went out of season, there was no entertainment in the evening, but I know that they provide this in the peak season. There are so many bars and restaurants around this area that you were spoilt for choice.



The restaurants were all excellent, there were many English places to eat if you wanted that. All the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.



We ordered food on several occasions at the bar when were lying round on our padded sun-loungers and it was brought out to us for us to eat. Last orders at the bar are at 11.30 p.m and the bar shuts at 12.00.



All in all, I found the place to be extremely lovely and welcoming and have decided to book next year’s holiday with them.
