The hotel is clean and the rooms are large and comfortable.

The lowest point for me was the food, as there was only one restaurant and it became very repetitive and food was often luke warm. We could not work out what they did to the chicken but it neither looked nor tasted like chicken! The snacks offered throughout the day were inedible, cheese toasties left in a heated tray for hours on end.

The slides provide good fun if you can brave freezing water! The kids club was great, it was open all day and I took my 2 year old in anytime for painting etc.

Another low point was most of the entertainment took place in Disco Viva which wasn't included in the all-inclusive package, so in order to see the entertainment you had to pay for drinks.

It is a very German orientated hotel but all the staff speak English too so communication isn't a problem.

The hotel was ok in the respect of they gave you clean towels everyday your sheets were only changed every 3-4 days but they did keep the rest of the hotel immaculate, and you wont go hungry, hot and plenty of it at meal times.

If you want a holiday in Germany without going to Germany this is the place to go, all the staff were German or German speaking Bulgarians, all the hotel signs were in German, even safety signs above the fire alarm break glass.

For the first 4 days there was no entertainment at all, 5th day was to of the animation team doing some sort of act but again all in German, day 6, 7, 8 was the German speaking German kids from the kids club with some sort of cabaret but we could not understand day days 9, 10 no entertainment, the animation team made no attempt and I am convinced that they couldn’t to speak English, and involve the few English families that were in the hotel.

The first week there were only about 3 English families in the hotel and the second week there were maybe an additional 4-5 families.

If you want to use the snack facility you will have to know 24 hours in advance that you will want one as between the hour of 1800-1900 you can book for tomorrow and considering its all inclusive its a bit restrictive when you have 2 kids that don’t always want to eat at the designated eating times.

The drinks available were all local brands but they were not scared to give you a good measure ask for a vodka and they gave you a double or triple depending on who served you, they also had no problems in allowing you to fill up your bottles to take to the beach and that included the beer.

In the rooms they were basic but ok for sleeping in no fridge or kettle, disappointing the air conditioning was absolutely rubbish the kids could of stood on the bed and blew on me and it would of been more of a breeze, we had a power cut mid week and never even noticed that the air con had gone of.

The resort was clean but Blackpool- ish a Bulgarian /German twist on the kiss me quick hat stalls! But 'what they say' is right it is really cheap and you do get a lot for your doe.

There are quite a few street artists offering pastel and oil paintings from a picture that they will take for you they are all around the same price, we had a drawing of the kids done from the lady by our hotel and it was absolutely brilliant would recommend!

Overall the weather was the saviour of the holiday as it was fabulously hot.

The transfers were quick and convenient door to door brilliant, the outgoing terminal was a let down once through security which is really tight and they have no sense of humour, there is only a very small duty free and restaurant.

We went with Balkan holidays on Bulgarian airways and would never travel with them again ever.

Beautiful hotel, very high standard of cleaning. No Irish there all German, food catered for Germans. Top quality food just not to my taste.

You need taxis all the time to travel, great hotel for families with children, who want to relax and enjoy the hotel. Highly recommended if this is you.

Kids club quite expensive, there is a great hairdressers which myself and friend enjoyed daily. Just needs more Irish people there to lift the atmosphere, go with a crowd make your own mind up.

We booked this holiday last minute on the advice of a Travel Advisor for one week. It was a beautiful hotel. Fantastic lobby and welcoming staff.

Hotel was new at the time and English was not easily spoken by staff. We had paid for half board but on the first day there were not facilities for us to have lunch (to pay for). We discussed this with the reception staff and we were given the option to upgrade to All Inclusive for the rest of our stay. It was ridiculously cheap to upgrade. Something like £8 per day for the four of us (two adults and 2 children).

The beach is just a few minutes walk from the back of the hotel. Beware that there are quite a few steps down to the beach. But well worth the walk. The complex is made up of 3 hotels, the third (middle hotel) was being built whilst we were there. Despite this there was no actual building going on at the time. Building was wrapped in plastic!! It may be that all building must stop during holiday periods.

Quiet hotel, no way as busy as Sunny Beach. Not for singles. Good for families and those looking for a quiet holiday. Pool entertainment for the kids and lots of play area (well grassed) for them to play on. Separate large kids pool with slides etc.

Restaurant was immaculate. Good food. Could be somewhat repetitive if staying for 2 weeks.

Only down side is that this hotel was German owned and so about 90% of visitors were of German origin. Nothing against people from Germany, just leaves few holiday makers for us Brits to chat and socialise with.

I got a better rate of exchange against the pound at the hotel reception than I did in the UK.

As for the ice cream? Raffi ice cream is to die for.

I would recommend this hotel without reservation.

The hotel is very very clean! The rooms are spacious and clean. The food isn't the best but it is manageable, gets a bit repetitive. The staff are friendly and always will help.

The pools were a good size and clean. The entertainment staff were good but we didn’t think there was much for adults. Overall the hotel was good and I would go back again! :)
