Magnolia Apartments

We' ve just returned from the hotel magnolia along with 4 other couples.Our departure from the hotel(at 2am) was met with thank God were going home,from the other couples.We had to agree. The food was either cool or cold,with air conditioning vents above the servery this is not healthy.The waiting staff did'nt take thier responsibilites seriously, I was phisically checked for my wrist band, going for dinner, when 2 nights later someone in front of me(with a damp vest and towel around them walked straight in to dinner,they were not approacher about their dress code.The rooms were soso,beds changed once a fortnight.About the other guests.West German,Romanian,russian,hungerian etc. They mostly seemed very rude and illmannered especially the children, in fact the brits felt like fish out of water. This concurs with a previous reviewer.But alas this not the only place this happens.2 years ago we went to Kenya, and russians and estonians turned up.They were the very same rude and uncouth.So yes if you cant get on with these nationals DONT GO THERE.

The hotel is kept very clean although our room was slightly damp. Food was average never went hungry. Staff were more friendly towards the Germans.
Would not recommend to go at the end of season as everything was closing down Albena was a lovely resort plenty of water sports and not expensive, the animation team at the hotel were very good Joanne in particular would not recommend to go and see the dolphins in Varna poor show very small pool cruel to the dolphins really!
The whole of Bulgaria seems to be full of Germans so if you don’t like them don’t go they are very rude and everywhere other wise had a good holiday met some very nice welsh folk that made our holiday thanks!
