Worked in Santa Ponsa in 2007 and stayed at the Hotel Miranda for quite a number of weeks! In my opinion this is a rather small hotel but is very cosy and spotless! ideal for older couples due to the quiet peaceful atmosphere. Staff are very friendly as are the cleaners.... more

I have just returned from 1 weeks stay in the hotel miranda and I have to say for a 1 star hotel this place is fab. The owner Linda is lovely, very accomodating. The hotel is clean and well maintained, rooms are basic but again clean. I have stayed in a lot worse for a lot more money. It is in a fab location near to town centre and beach but really quiet. I will definately return.

Just back from a fantastic week at Hotel Miranda. After reading some reviews here I was a little worried, but need not have been. The hotel is AMAZING value for money for where it is situated. It's basic, but then what do you expect for the price?! It's clean, tidy and well maintained. My friends paid 4 times what I did for a hotel MILES away from the beach. I stayed in a single room, which had a double bed, a wardrobe, 2 night stands, a lamp, a fan, a mirror and dressing table. I also had a balcony, which meant I could open up the door...

Just back, stayed there for one week and loved it! Linda the owner is lovely and makes you feel very welcome, the hotel is friendly and incredibly clean. Centrally located (the street behind the Golf Beach), and very quiet. I will certainly be visiting again! FANTASTIC VALUE!
Under no circumstances stay here.

i stayed in the hotel miranda for 1 week and i had seen someone on the reception for about 1 hour every day, although the facilities are basic THAT is expected for a 1 star hotel. The Miranda's best asset is its proximity to the beach for its price, it's closer than some hotels 4 times its price. It's a pretty hotel with flowers, a goldfish pond, and a swimming pool. However it's a bit shoddy inside - the rooms could do with an overhaul. Also it suffers from a lack of airconditioning, meaning that one gently cooks throughout the night, although it does force you to get out of bed early; and it certainly isn't suitable for children (the pool's deep). I started travelling regularly to Majorca in 1989 and have covered the majority of the island with my family. Now as a single traveller my needs have changed and I have found an oasis in the single holiday dessert of subsidies. Stayed at the miranda for a week in july 2006.The hotel is only one star,and to be fair it is pretty good for what it is.The rooms are tidied every day,the beds are made but not changed.You get fresh towels every couple of days.Breakfast basic but good for one star.Pablo at the hotel bar is really friendly as are the owners.The thing that ruined the holiday was having no sleep for a week.It is the noisiest place we've ever stayed in.Dogs barking right outside all day and a lot of the night,doors slamming every second,people totally...

I stayed in the Miranda the same week as the last review. I had a great time in Santa Ponsa and can't wait to return this year. Don't mark the hotel down for it's facilities; it's one star! It's clean and will provide all your basic needs... You can sleep, bathe, shower, get breakfast, get tea/coffee or beers/drinks most of the day, lounge by the pool, and use the hotel as a very central base. Got a cheap last min Holiday to the Miranda Helltel opps Hotel. The rooms very very basic no tv or fridge no brewinf station. JUst 2 single beds set of drawers and a shower over a very tiny bath. The Hotel i would say is clean overall. Breakfast is bread or tost with eggs, ham cheese jam and cereals again basic not that bad though. Location is good rounf the corner from bars and beach. however it was low season ans the room did get chilly no heating at all. Bar area basic but the staff are ok and friendly enough.
