" Beautiful weather at that time of... "

Beautiful weather at that time of year; not a cloud in the sky or drop of rain the whole week!

The hotel was stunning. Very, very clean suites providing apartment style accommodation, with self catering facilities including cutlery, crockery, pans, 2 ring hob, microwave and fridge with freezer box. En suite bathroom with all mod cons! Comfortable beds in well designed bedroom with colour co ordinated soft furnishings. Tons of cupboard space!

Each suite had either a huge terrace or a smallish balcony. Half the suites looked out onto the delightful pool area, but the other half had a view of the local 'wasteland' of the surrounding area, which was actually quite ugly, and is the reason why I have given a 9 rather than a 10 as my overall rating. The approach to the hotel is not at all pleasant, but upon entering the hotel complex, you are in a different world!

Food was fantastic! Huge selection of hot and cold dishes for both breakfast and dinner. A bar served snacks and meals throughout the day.

Outdoor pool was marvellous! Very big - suitable for some serious swimming!

Best feature of the hotel, I thought, was the indoor spa! This included a swimming pool, a further heated pool with 'massage jets', fountains etc. - very relaxing! There were 2 Jacuzzis, a plunge pool, foot massage stones with cold water jets, various showers (hot, cold, scented etc), a sauna, a steam room (not working when I was there), an ice cave, a thermal room with heated seats, statue busts and a scented fountain, and a relax room with heated loungers - all for free use! There was a fully equipped gymnasium and a timetable of various fitness classes, including spinning, which is most definitely not for the faint hearted!...There were also the usual treatments on offer (massages, therapies etc.) but they were very expensive!

I think this is the best hotel I've ever stayed at! I would seriously recommend it!

" At the front of this impressive hotel... "

At the front of this impressive hotel lies a piece of scrubland. Not the best first impression! The rooms are cosy and for the most part, very well appointed. The balcony overlooking the pool is also cosy and ideal for an average midget family as you can only have 1 person enjoying the vista at one time!

The hotel was full of Germans and whilst not having an issue with their nationality, if you cannot drink 8 pints of shit lager before breakfast, you are laughed at. Similarly, if you do not have a belly with girth matching a 400 year old oak tree, more scorn and cries of stick boy are heard.

The beach is not 500 meters away and there needs to be mention of the dog poo that adorns the pavement as you make you way along the 1000 meter walk to the beach. The beach is very long but only 10 feet in depth. Again an opportunity for the midget family to take advantage of perhaps.

If you smoke, stock up as Sunday really is God's day and all you sinning tabbers will be unable to buy any. Apart from the above, a lovely break with my lovely partner.
