Worsed holiday of my life. I cant say no more. Thomas Cook set us up on a holiday from hell....4 young girls going away to this unsafe dirty place. After one day, all of us had cried to go home.
First the receptionist was rude and tried to con us out of a room!!! (8 0f us went, but us 4 on the first floor had all the trouble). Then we had a flod on our floor, and the maid gave my friend the mop to clean it up!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our shower head was broken, the water was yellow. The air con broke 3 times!!! each time after someone fixed it!
There was poo on our towels and blood on the sheets and they were reluctant to change them, we had to get them changed as the maids didnt clean our room ONCE!
The view from our balcony was full of used condoms and soiled pants! Rotting Chicken and other food, general rubbish and it STANK!!!!
The window wouldnt lock as the apartment had been broken into the night before.
The swimming pool was a complete death trap, the steps were rusting and half coming out of the concrete!!!
We all suffered from a sore throat and cough after this holiday because of the conditions we had to put up with!
Im warning you....do not go here, even if it is cheap...We thought it would be ideal for a palce to lay your head and av a shower...but turns out id does matter!!! It ruined my holiday people and i worked so hard for it!

DONT STAY THERE ITS HORRIBLE THE ONLY GOOD THING THEY HAD WAS AIR CON THE TOILET LEAKED THE VIEW IS RUBBISH. NOT FAR TO STUMBLE HOME FROM BCM BUT STILL WOULDNT STAY THERE AGAIN! IF YOU DO MAKE SURE YOU DONT LEAVE ANYTHING OUT BECAUSE IT WILL GET STOLEN! THE POOL IS NOTHING TO LOOK AT. THE BEACH IS GOOD THOUGH HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD HOLLIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went on holiday also with the other 3 lasses that recently wrote a review. And heres mine.



On our first night when we arrived we were informed that we would have to pay a deposit fee of 30 euros each to stop in our rooms, this was new to us as we never heard about this until we got there, we were also informed of all the costs that we would have to pay if anything was broken or misplaced and the prices were ridiculous, money hungary people working there. We had read alot of reviews of this hotel and ok yea we heard it was a mess, filfthy and basically just disguisting but our hotel rooms were nice and clean on arrival, very basic but livable for what we were using them for.



We were told on arrival that we would have access to a safe deposit box, only to find out that the hotel staff would not give us one until the morning. Was a bit late for some people though me and a friend had to find out the hard way when we went to get changed to find out there room had been robbed, taking over £1000 worth of peoples stuff. Weird thing is there was no forced entry, we couldnt tell that the room had been broken into at all. Staff were informed, but they basically just sat there and said sorry you need a translater for the police, costing 40 euros each was a bit expensive especially when you have just been robbed.



We also found out that anuva 5 rooms of which we no off had been robbed all on the same side of the hotel, all weird robbies, especially wen someones balconony door was just ripped off and laying there on the floor. Keys for hotel rooms are kept behind the reception desk and its worring that they can just give the keys to anyone and walk into your room. Another thibng is that when your in your room a light is shown which shows you are in your room and off when you go out, this must make it eaiser for people to robb the roomes.



Overall i hated this hotel, i did actually feel scared that someone would break into my room or be in the room when we came back, and i couldnt wait to leave the hotel i would advise lasses of 17 and 18 not to stop there or go on holiday with someone that can speak spanish because the hotel staff are rude arrogant, full of themselfs and dont care about your health or well being

Well......... b4 we had even gone 2 magaluf people we talked to told us that these apartments were horrible and dirty and whatever else they said, however when we arrived there they wernt as bad as what people say. proberly the best located apartments in magaluf! small and basic, but at the end of the day you dont go on holiday to say in your apartment.



on arrival staff are very rude and inconsiderate, dont really care as long as they are making money off you! and yes everything is money money money, for instance if your shower curtian is broken they will blame it on you wether it was or was not and then they try to get €50 off you, prices get worse! YES they take a depoist of €150 on arrival and the slighest thing wrong and you dont get it back! there was pool balls in our room, not from the pool tables on the complex and they wernt going to give us our deposit back!



ANYWAY! we arrived there at 9pm ish and threw our bags ( after carting them up staris as the lifts had broke) and decided to go out. staff told us to get a saftey deposit box in the morning therefore all our cash was in our suitcases etc.. two of our group went in at 2am to get change to find we had been ROBBED!!! there was no prove of entry and all door and windows were still locked! they had taken about £1500 cash 2 cameras and a moblie phone! it was very werid as money had been took but were that money was they had left some of the money! we were all deverstated! the only people with keys were the staff, we tried to ring the police and they wouldnt let us use the phone or anything, and when we adventually got hold of the police they refused to talk to us as we couldnt speek spanish! you have to get a translated and they cost €40 per person!



ALSO there was 5 other rooms that got ROBBED whislt we were ther what we know about and one saftey deposit box! how?? when there is 24hr reception? its all very werid!



JUST TO ADD TO IT ALL the pool is the size of a giant bath (tiny) and there is no kettal, toster, microwave or anything like that. lifts always seem to break with people in them, and is a regular thing to happen.



OVERALL I WOULD ADVISE PEOPLE TO STOP SOMEWHERE ELSE! THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THESE APPARMENTS IS THE LOCATION!!!

I was part of Z.Conleys group! I just thought I would add a bit more detail. Other then being robbed on our first night, not broken in to as there was no forced entry, there was loads of other flaws about the hotel.

Our door decided to lock itself and had to be broken in to with a crow bar. The electricity went out in one of our rooms and it took the hotel staff 6 hours to sort it out! The hotel staff were ignorant and when we were robbed they refused to ring the police!

The hotel is in a great location & it was party capital after the clubs were shut! Our floor never slept, it was imense. The rooms were very very basic, but they were OK. It's just the hotel staff that need to sort them selves out!

I would go back if it wasn't for the freequent robberies & the obnoxious, offensive , useless hotel staff.

well were du we start wid this then ppl....... there was 8 of us between 2 rooms and the first night of us being there 1 of our rooms got robbed we got money cameras n fones stolen yet u cudnt even tell some1 had broken in and the only ppl that had our key were the staff (suspisious or wat) we were only there 4 hrs wen this happened nd the police r crap if you cant speak spanish they tell you to go get a translator, the staff at the hotel wouldnt let us ring the police wen we had got robbed, they wouldnt let us have a safety deposit box till after we got robbed. in the whole time we were there, there was 5 other suspious robberies what we know of. so overall my review of it was that the holiday was good n the apartments are in a gud spot its just a shame how crap they are!!!!!!!!!!

The Lifts do not work constantly so you have to climb up (up to) 9 flights to your apartment - not good if drunk or with 25kgs of luggage!!! You do not get any help. The Staff are rude and not bothered the apartments are big but have not got a kettle and are missing cutlery! Noisy apartments you do not get much sleep either.

A bath sized pool adds to the atmosphere- Good Location is my 1 /10 rating everything else is crap!!!!!

i stayed in the appartments for 2weeks with a group off friends the app is really basic.only thing i had to complain about wa the lifts sticking and havuing to walk up to the 7th floor.. lifts did stink!!! maids not very freindly ask them for clean sheets for the bed and she handed them to me for me till do myself.. all u heard all nite was doors banging and people kicking there door trying to get in. but if ur just going till party then these appartments are the place till go as everyone in the block is parting.would go bak as im young myself and was just looking for sumwere to put the head down for a while..

After reading all the bad reviews that this hotel had me and my 3 girlie friends were dreading staying at these apartmens. But they are not what people have wrote on here, the apartments are basic but clean, we got fresh towels every other day and the water was always hot. The air con was great. It is RIGHT nxt to BCM which was great after the water and foam party not far to walk home. The brochures of this apartment state that it is close to BCM but the noise was never a problem for us!!This apartment was great for us nothing got stolen from the room of safety boxs carn't fault it in any way would def go back..

I Just Got Back From Magalluf Early Yesteday Morning.

Playa Magalluf Apartments Are Located In A Great Area, Right Next Door To BCM and Just A Few Corners Away From The Main Strip! Me And My Friend Sarah Were Able To Stumble In At Stupid Times And Didnt Have To Go On A Long Trip Through Magalluf Before We Could Get To Bed.

Because Of The Great Location Of These Apartments It Also Means There Is Lots Of Noise 24/7.. To Me This Wasnt A Problem Because In Our Case We Were The Noise!! If Ur Lookin For Peace And Quiet Avoid This Hotel.. Infact Id Say Avoid Magalluf Altogether!!

You Do Get A Load Of Mad People Staying In This Hotel.. But There All Harmless And Only Up For A Laugh, That Is After All What Magalluf Is All About!

There Were Some Downsides To Playa Magalluf Tho..

Firstly.. The Lifts And Corridoors Absolutely Stunk Of Urine.. And When You Have A Hangover.. Its Not Exactly What You Want To Smell First Thing!

Secondly.. Considering It Was A Self Catering Apartment There Was A Lack Of Food Utensils. We Had One Pan.. A Frying Pan. We Couldnt Really Make Much Using That So Most Of The Time We Went Out To Eat.

The Reception Werent Of Great Help Either.. WHen We Arrived She Took Our Passports And Gave Us A Key.. All She Told Us Was The Room Number We Were Staying In. On Our Last Day We Were Woken By One Of The Hotel Workers At 2pm. We Went Down To Reception Top Check Out.. The Man Was Rude Saying That He Should Charge Us For Checkin Out Late.. We Had No Idea We Had Done As No One Had Told Us There Was A Time. When I Pointed Out To Him That We Had Not Been Told Any Of This He Got Aggressive And Said That We Had Done. He Said That In All Hotels All Over The World You Have To Check Out At 12 ( This Is A Lie Becuase I Used To Work In A Hotel And In Previous Hotels Id Stayed In The Checking Out Time Was Different!) He Was Rude And I Was Tired So We Did Get Into A Big Argument About It And In The End We Wernt Charged.. I Feel He COuld Have Been More Polite With Us And Then Maybe I Wouldnt Have Been So Annoyed!

If Your Young And All You Want Is Somewere To Sleep And Shower Than This Is The Place To Be.. However If You Want Abit More Luxury Id Suggest That You Look Elsewere!

Having just returned from two weeks in this complex, some of the other reviews on this site have left me gasping in disbelief. The other reviewers must have very low expectations or be exactly the kind of people who helped make our experience of the accommodation so awful.



Stay at Apartmentos Magalluf Playa if and only if you:



(i) wish to be poisoned by the immediate and permanent stench of stale urine. This was far from the best start, and yet nothing was done to remove this acrid smell from all lifts, stairs and other communal areas



(ii) find yourself socially at one with violent, aggressive, mindless, oafish gangs of yobs. Not just groups of lads enjoying themselves, but large numbers of utter scumbags who made me feel ashamed to be British



(iii) fancy being burgled. Security is a joke, with (unconfirmed) reports of money being taken from safety deposit boxes. Our front door was not secure, and the balcony door was also practically hanging off, making entry to the room easy



(iv) hope to meet your death in a coffin on strings masquerading as a lift. When they worked, that is, which wasn't very often. One time when they were working, it opened to reveal that the tiny metal box had stopped a good two feet below where it should have



(v) like being disturbed at all hours, day and night, by incessant banging, punching and kicking of doors, or by extremely loud thumping, screeching, yelling, hammering, and a million other variants of noise pollution. The close proximity of BCM was a blessing in disguise as the music etc from there helped somewhat to drown out the murderous cacophony emanating from within



(vi) are happy to expect filthy, stained pillowcases, bedsheets and towels and often no hot water. Even managing the basics was too much of a struggle for the management of this hellhole



There are a small number of positive things I could say about the Apartmentos Magaluf Playa, but they are so completely overwhelmed by the negatives that they barely warrant any consideration. Stay somewhere else.

I book this hotel then read the reviwes i was worried after reading them!!! Me my sister and my mate stayed for a week and it was fab the room was clean and tidy the staff were very nice it was and ideal location i would say you have to be under 30 to stay there thought!!! the only problem was noise and the odd cockroach but hey ur abroad in a livly place what do u exspect!!! its a great hotel and i would defo recommend it if you was fun sea sand and loads of beer!!!!! Also we are going back for 10 days to the same hotel this year so it must have been ok lol

well where do i start, on arrival it took three different attempts to find a room to settle in. they give me a key to one room which already had luggage inside then done the same again when i told them about the first room. how unorganised can you get? at somepoint during the holiday one of my mates who was staying in the samos hotel asked for a key for a certain room and they handed it over without checking or atleast seem suspicious, there seems to be lack of security, i would go back to magaluf again but i would not recommend you stay in the magaluf playa!!

Me & My 3 Mates Went To Magaluf On The 12th June Last Year. We Were A Little Bit Apprehensive As We Read Some Bad Reviews About It But...Do Not Listennnn To Them!

The Apartments Were Great...The Rooms Were Very Spacious & There Was Also Lots Of Room On the Veranda. Our Room Was 4 Floors Up And Looked Directly On To The BCM...It Was Noisy Yeh.. But..What Do You Expect When You Go To Maga, & We Wer Out All The Time Anyway. Fantastically Situated. Only A Few Minutes Walk To The Beach & McD's,Subway Etc,Next Door To The BCM & BCM Square & Only A Few Minutes Walk To The Strip, Were Bananas & Boomerang Are. Amazinnngg Holiday, Would Go Back In A Second. Would Highly Recommend The Magaluf Playa Apartments.
