The staff don't check who is collecting keys from reception so anyone can walk into your room... and they do the group of people i stayed with had several phones stolen along with cash. If its not the staff stealing it they will know who is doing it. DON'T STAY HERE ITS NOT SAFE!

Unfortunately I only read the reviews after we booked the holiday - I wish I had seen them beforehand. Our apartment was tiny, three 'beds' (one cot bed and two sofas) in one room. One mirror - not ideal for three girls getting ready. The cooker didn't work and the staff... more

good value for money
Stayed at these apartments for a long weekend friday till monday on a hen do we booked these through a local travel agent they cost us approx £17 per person per night .It was great value for money for a short break they were clean and served our purpose i would recommend these apartments if your going on a short break self catering they were quiet as well very close to all the action but beware you do have to walk up and down cardiac hill,it was nt has bad as i thought though try an walk on the road whan there s no traffic. Back to accomodation like i say great for us and any groups there were familys there but the only problem i thought was that the pool was quite small and there was nt enough sunbeds in the area around the pool .Great views though and the beach is nt too far away either. The rooms were fine large enough, bathrooms were a bit dated but no problems and the rooms have very large balconys. Did nt really see any staff like cleaners or anyone not that it was dirty we were probably still in bed when they came. There is always someone on reception and they are quite helpful some more than others,my luggage did nt arrive while two days into our break so i had to go to apartments without any luggage and a certain young man at reception was very helpful and rang the airport for me on numerous occasions to see if they had found my case,so i was very greatful for all his help. Overall we had a fabulous time and would definately return to these apartments on a short break or recommend them.
Not for families
I have been there in two weeks from fifteenth of June 2007 to the first of July, with my wife & son. I arrived there at one o´clock (afternoon), but they told me to wait 3 hours to clean my room. When I came in there, I was disappointed, the floor was dirty, The towels were frayed & dirty, the pillows as well, spider net on the ceilings, and, and ,and.... I could´nt imagine that I can stay there in two weeks, but I could´nt find another place. The furniture in the corridors & the reception were very dirty & frayed, the elevator was often broken, the staff were not freindly at all. The pool area was crowded & of course not clean, the restaurant was dirty. There were a lot of teenagers in the hole area & the hotel was not an exeption. It was very noisy, we could´nt sleep in the nights, people were screaming, slamming doors. I´ve seen plastic chairs, shoes, empty beer tins, cigarette-butts thrown from the floors above down into the pool. Going up the steep hill to the hotel was another problem. The reception was on the 9th floor & my room was on the 7th, & the only positive thing in the hotel were the sea view.
Great views, at a price
Stayed here in Aug 2005 with my girlfriend. I had been to Magaluf before, she hadnt. We had planned a mad one on booking, but she fell pregnant between booking and going so the plans changed somewhat. This hotel is high up on the headland and so the views from the upper level balconies are awesome. However getting to the hotel requires a walk up a steep hill, nicknamed heart-attack hill by the reps, and its about 1/2 a mile long from the main resort to the top. Hard work in 30c heat. Especially when pregnant! The hotel is a strange setup also, built on the base of the cliff and rising up over the top of the headland, the reception is on the 17th floor at the top and you go down to all the rooms, not up. The pool and bar are also on the ground floor near sea level. The pool and pool area are VERY small and gets really crowded. They do food but we never tried any. The rooms were average size and could do with new furniture. Everything looked a bit 70's. There were 2 wooden sofa things that doubled as the beds, but if as in our case you wanted to sleep together you had to push them together, meaning it made some sort of huge wooden cot and you had to literally climb in and out over the sides... We went s/c only to get the fridge. There is also a TV that only shows CNN, german MTV and a few spanish channels. All rooms also have AC which we found lovely to come back to some days. Although we booked through the normal airtours brochure, this hotel is also advertised in the Escapades brochure, so its mainly groups of 18-25 yr olds here... We were woken EVERY night multiple times by people screaming & shouting down the corridors, slamming doors, noisy [----], you name it... I know most people go to magaluf for the night life and to go mad, but we wanted at least some sleep, esp with my gf being pregnant, and didnt get very much to begin with.... We know people are on holiday but some nights/mornings it was ridiculous... We complained to reception and when I explained my girlfriend was pregnant they were great, and left a message on the main doors asking guests to consider others when coming in at early hours.... And the noise level dropped considerably after that... Go to pirates for a good night out, and western water park for a good day out...
