Sheraton Heathrow Hotel

Perfect stop-over base for those travelling in/out of the nearby airport. Predominantly populated with businessmen and travellers.
Very friendly greeting and help with luggage up to very well furnished double en-suite. Satellite TV and Playstation (pay per view/play), very expensive mini-bar and tea/coffee making facilities (free!). Clean bathroom with very powerful shower and lots of soft clean towels and complementary toiletries.
Three places to eat - restaurant (more expensive dining but top quality), 'coffee bar' (drinks and light snacks) and the bar (open until 1am) where I paid £7.00 for a panini and £2.00 for a bottle of coke for an evening meal. Breakfast is served in the main restaurant and provides a very wide choice - from coffee and a Danish to OJ and fruit to a full English fry up. Room service is also available.
From what I could glean during my short stay (4.00pm Sunday - 8.15am Monday) there are also a number of other facilities including conference rooms, a gym, a gift shop and, of course, internet access.
I stayed here courtesy of the BBC so the room price did not effect to me. However, the service and facilities were first rate and I would, if I could afford it, definitely stay again if circumstances required.
