It is the morning after returning from the Coral Sea, and the first thing i am wondering is when i can go back again!

Our party had 3 adults and 3 children, and we thought we were all catered for fantastically. The food was varied and plentiful, the service was second to none, from the waiters to the room staff, to the beach staff. I honestly could not fault a thing!

We were planning on going here just to have a relaxing sun holiday, but it was no way like that! We took the free shuttle from the hotel into Sakkala for the afternoon to practise our haggling skills! We never once felt threatened or intimidated by the sellers and the whole thing was a fun experience- the gold is a bargain. We also did the trip to Cairo. We decided to fly, which was a 14 hr round trip, and although tiring, was an experience not to be missed- our boys loved the Pyramids, while the hi-light fro us adults was the Egyptian Museum which truly was awe inspiring. Our guide, Mohammed, was on hand at all times, and the trip was faultless. Be prepared for the poverty that you will see on the streets tho, as we prepered the children beforehand. The highlight tho, was snorkelling on the coral reefs. I discovered that i dont have 'sea-legs', but i wouldnt have missed it for the world! The fish are plentiful, brushing by you as you swim along them, the boys were allowed to jump from the top of the boat (with our permission, of course!), and by the time we had got back to the shore, we all felt like one big family. The guys from Aquarius dive centre were amazing! And a tip? Buy the dvd on offer- its worth it.

The only trip i wouldnt recommend was the Beduoin Experience. Im glad i did it, but had the feeling a lot of it was just show fro the tourists. I could be wrong tho!

All in all, for a bargain last minute holiday, it totally surpassed any expectation that i had. In fact, i would go so far to say, that it was by far the best holiday i have had. 10/10

2 adults - 4 children

Wonderful, clean hotel - super rooms with large bathroom and plenty of storage space. Linen and towels were changed every day.

Staff could not do enough for you, especially the housekeeping and bar staff. It was the other guests that were rude - especially the Russians.

Carol, the First Choice Rep, was very helpful and always smiling. When not on duty she mixed and chatted to make sure the guests were ok.

The food in the main restaurant was ok and most days there was a good choice of chicken, pasta, beef, salads and pancakes. The beach restaurant at lunch times was probably the best bet for children with burger, hot dog, grilled chicken and sandwiches, all served with chips or rice.

Do be prepared for "Egyptian tummy" which most people had for a day or two. Again, Carol could get tablets for this if needed, but we were all ok without.

The entertainment was not that exciting in the evenings (the same singer every night), but the animation team worked very hard to involve children during the daytime and at night.

The pool was fair-sized with shelved ledges to get in and out. It was very cold and refreshing when you needed to cool down (which was nearly every 20 mins). Take plenty of suncream - factor 40+ for children - you will need it. Beach/pool towels are provided.

You will need a visa which can be purchased on arrival at £10.00 per person.

The all-inclusive alcoholic cocktails were very good!!!! The children enjoyed the non-alcoholic ones too.

All in all, we had a fantastic time, very relaxing and after returning to a wet and cold England, we cant wait to go back again.

Egypt is a lovely country and the Egyptians themselves are very friendly.

Apartments OK, nothing special. Fridge in room...not mini-bar. Sheets changed every day also towels. Staff v friendly. We were pestered though by people selling submarine trips, jeep safaris.... not recommended as they are not safety and security covered. Stick to trips organised by rep.

Take plenty of rehydration salts for jippy tummy. also Immodium..... you will need it. We all did, even had to call doctor. Really bad diarrhoea. Take hand wipes and anti bac wipes for toilet, the cleaner has quite a few apartments to clean and uses the same mop and toilet brush for each one!!!

Apart from going in the height of summer at 45-50 degrees, having 7 out of 14 days without the trots and killing large red ants in bathroom,we managed to enjoy the rest of our time. Came home lighter in body and pocket. (It takes a lot of baksheesh) Tips to almost everyone! Be prepared!

A1, I had a fabulous time at Coral beach, beautiful beach and the swimming pools been spacious and clean.

The Service was great, the people there couldn’t do enough for you.

There was loads of entertainment from scuba diving to quad biking through the desert visiting the Bedouin villages. (A must for all ages).

I will definitely be going back again, but I do advice you go during winter our time as Hurghada is deathly hot over summer.

I have to write a review as before my holiday I got worried that I had picked the wrong hotel due to the poor reviews I read on the internet.

I can now say that this hotel is very good.

The food, drink, and staff are fantastic - especially animation team.

There is an on-site disco which provides late night entertainment, the pool bar (and waiter) is perfect and the layout of the site makes you feel that you are in a resort not a hotel complex.

There is a walkway out over the coral which you can leave at the end to join the fishes for a swim.

Also available is snorkelling, scuba-lessons, horse riding, boat trips (on which we saw wild dolphins!).

Overall this place is a great hotel and I would recommend it to everyone.

The people who must write the bad reviews must have either been unlucky or have far too high expectations as we could find nothing wrong with this place.

We will be going back again soon.

Beware of water! We had to move rooms as orangey brown water was pouring out of the bathroom ceiling lights and tiles, and none coming out of the hot tap (room 3503).

The next room only dripped water, though it was not brown this time, but we didn't dare put the lights on. Fine, we managed to get showered, but then the problem was when you stepped out.

The water had been coming up through the tiles and making an indoor pool, (room 3501). We never reported this as we didn't want to have to move again, we just kept paddling and wiping it up.

The rest of the rooms were well furnished and quite large, more than fine, and the TV had 24 hour films.

The site in general was very good, if a little too well spread for me. It was a fair walk to the beach from our room, and even further to the jetty to reach the coral.

Nevertheless, as I am very poor at walking, the reception sent a buggy to transport me. It is not really a suitable hotel for anyone with walking difficulties.

We go for the snorkelling as well as the sun, and we were disappointed at the coral beachside of the reef. The wind and rough seas stopped us from venturing to the reef itself, but I am sure if conditions are good, there would be good snorkelling for the more confident.

The beach boys surrounded us with windbreakers, and out of the wind, the sun was hot for January.

The staff in general were very good and helpful and not too demanding for tips, which I prefer. Knowing how little they earn, we do tip, but they fair better with us, when not holding out their hands.

The restaurant was mostly good, there was always beef, chicken, fish and pasta dishes on offer, but occasionally they were not too hot. The salad and sweets were well presented, and there was always a good choice of breads (my downfall), though sometimes the butter was a little "off", smell it first!

If you are a wine drinker, this was only available on the all inclusive, with lunch and dinner, of course soft drinks, beer and spirits were available. Make sure your sun beds are not too far from the bar. Beware of the Russians, they can be quite vulgar and rude.

There was a good animation team, who seemed to work non stop, on the beach during the day, and putting on shows in the evening.

I must admit we didn't take advantage of the entertainments, again because of my walking difficulties, but the smiley faced, eager youngsters were always around telling us what was happening, where and when.

All in all, if you are fit and able, and don't mind being a good ride away from Hurghada itself, the hotel is a lot better than some we've been to in Egypt.

Just a little tip, if you do want to go into old Hurghada or Sekala shopping, walk to the gate and flag down a white/blue local transport, mini bus, it's only 2 EP fare, one way, much cheaper than the hotel mini bus which restricts the time you can stay there. You can also us the same method to return to the hotel.

The hotel mini bus is on offer for one free trip only, any more and you are charged.

My husband and I had a good two relaxing weeks in the sun and we watched a lot of films.
