Shaw Park Hotel

My boyfriend and I just came back from our Jamacian holiday and hada wonderful time thanks to the wonderful folks at Shaw Park. After being pushed out of our original hotel the folks at the Shaw Park thankfully had room for us and I can not say how lucky we feel we were able to stay at this wonderful resort. The resort re-opended three weeks ago after undergoing some rennovations and being bought by a new owner, what a great place to stay. The rooms were very clean, the grounds were beautiful (including the beach of course), the staff was incredible..catering to your every need and the food was outstanding. I can not say enough about the resort. They were just getting started so there were not many activities yet but you can tell that they are working on that aspect and I think it will be a lot fun. It was a very relaxing vacation, we were pampered and loved it. We would highly recommend this resort to any of our friends and family.

what a place to stay my husband and i stayed at shaw park in august 2001, we went there for our honeymoon, we had one one week in florida and the second week at this great hotel. The staff couldn't have been more friendly then they were, the entertainment was great the food was great, even when we went on a day trip they made us a hamper to take with us. The hotel was small but really friendly. We made lots of friend in just one week. We did not see one roach or any unsightly animals. We went back to Jamaica in july 2004 to to another hotel (renaissance grande) which by the way was crap) because shaw park was closed for refurbishment, all we could talk about was our next hoilday to shaw park, as soon as we get confirmation as to when shaw park is re-opening we will be booking our hoilday. We also big up everton and kingsley hope they are both there when we go again.

Sorry, this slice of heaven Is closed for remodeling I was told 2005( Late) it should re-open, How ever I stayed there in 1989 and every year since would go there to dine and listen to the live entertainment. A beautiful small hotel, with a wonderful staff & pretty good nite life.

My friend and I went to Shaw Park back in 2000, and we still have not stopped talking about it. We had the best time and definately plan to return some day. The staff was very friendly, our room had an excellent view, was very clean, and there was a good variety of food and activities. I don't know how anyone could not be completely satisfied with their stay. There was also a good diversity in people. Even though they allowed children there, none of them disturbed us at any time. And we loved the band in the evenings. I loved Ocho Rios altogether. The people in the town were also very friendly and nice. I can't wait until I have a chance to rerturn again!!

I have been to this little heaven on Earth four times. Each time the staff were the most curteous I have ever met in a hotel and it is very hard to leave.

My wife and I stayed there in Feburary of 2002 as a honeymoon trip and were treated like royality by all hotel employees.. Meals were incredable and facilities were perfect. We got to know a lot of new friends in the laid back and peaceful nature of this Hotel. I would strongly recommend it for the over thiry-five croud and especially those who want a quiet selfmotivated retreat. Beach and area are beautiful.

I went to Shaw Park over a year ago and remember the experience like it was yesterday because of the amazing time I had. I went with my mother after I graduated and we could not have wanted anything else from our holiday. The hotel staff were very friendly and the place, beautiful. The only tip i could give is to check that your vegetarian meal is in fact vegetarian before you tuck in (as Jamaicans seems to have a different idea of what a vegetarian is!)

Our Shaw Park Hotel holiday, whilst accepting that the hotel needs considerable money spent on reburbishment, was the most marvelous Holiday I have every had.It was as near to Paradise as I have ever experienced.There cannot be anywhere as relaxing as this Hotel. The staff were friendly and the food was plentiful and excellant. A must for relaxation. SATISFIED CUSTOMER

My husband and i stayed in shaw park back in 1996 we also had our wedding included in the holiday.we had a fantastic time,we found the staff very friendly and helpful,the room was clean and had beautiful views of the ocean.Our wedding was in shaw park gardens and was very romantic and well organized,i really couldn,t fault the hotel,we would love to return some day(when we can afford it!!)

Great, fab, excellent; just what we wanted. Staff very relaxed which is what you expect from a hotel adds to the enjoyment. WE LOVED EVERTON!
