Quality West Ham Hotel

This was an 'experience' as much as a short break. If you or your husband/partner are football fans, then I would give real consideration to booking a similar package to the one I surprised my husband with.
A lot will depend upon which team you support, for us it is, and always will be West Ham Utd. Through their excellent hospitality team I booked a match day package which included an overnight stay in the stadium hotel. The rooms overlook the pitch. The rooms are clean, comfortable and very well presented. The Hammers logo is even on the towels and soap!! We had a steak dinner in the Thames Ironworks bar - reasonably priced and beautifully cooked and presented.
On match day we did have to leave our rooms early, but our luggage was stored, and so we took a trip into central London, and saw some of the sights, including a flight on the London Eye - which is well worth the money.
We arrived back at the stadium at noon, a little shopping in the stadium store, and then off to the Bobby Moore suite for a beautiful lunch still overlooking the pitch, and an excellent balcony view of the game. We were given match day programmes and souvenirs free of charge, which is another nice touch.
The hospitality team are extraordinary - they share your excitement, and see to your every need, they are very well trained, and very thoughtful. The food is excellent, the match was a cracker (good old Teddy xx). After the match we received a tour of the museum (England fans would enjoy this too) and stadium, a must for any footie fan (and I got Yossi's signature - and Phil Parkes - and even saw Billy Mitchell and Minty from Eastenders!).
This is not a cheap weekend, the package alone cost me £540, plus train and tube fares etc.. But it was definitely worth it.
There was no down side, yes I was a little concerned about using the underground, but it was perfectly ok.
If you support a team, I recommend you contact their hospitality and find out what is available - in my eyes the only team worth watching are the Hammers, and I can only recommend their hospitality.
