This hotel was well worth its 4 stars.
We were the only 4 English staying in the 7 floor hotel. We went half board and it was so cheap, this did not mean the food was though as there was superb selections for breakfast and evening meals.
The only thing that spoilt the dining area was the amount of German people that were stealing the food and putting it in their bags, i.e. bread, yougerts, buns, etc...we did tell the manager but he overlooked it as he said there was not a lot they could do.
Apart from that we would recommend the hotel to all, it is completely clean and spotless and never did we walk on any part of the hotel and find a dirty spot.
Everyday our sheets were cleaned, beds made, and new towels everyday, a lesson many hotels in Roquetas de Mar could learn from.
The room was huge that we stayed in and even had its own kitchinette, our rear double doors lead to the balcony and we had a sea view (very impressive).
The weather for January was superb, as it was in the high 70's everyday, and it made playing golf a lot easier than back home in the UK.
I will be booking up this hotel again as it is central to everywhere. I will however add that if you intend playing golf on playa Serena, give it a wide berth.
This is because the green fees are 65 euros per person and 30 euros for a buggy; this makes a dear game of golf for 2 people. Apart from the price the course is in terrible condition and all the staff there are ignorant and most un-helpful.
This is why you must go to the mountains and play at la Enva golf course, the staff there are so helpful and the cost of a round of golf for 2 people is 65 euros cheaper and the course is in better condition than playa Serena.
Hope this helps any other potential people going to Roquetas de Mar.
