Playamar Apartments

hotel very difficult to find as there is only a small sign which is only noticable when you are under it,hotel looks clean from outside but once inside its gets a bit grubby,maid service is very poor,no clean sheets during the week we were there only had clean towels halfway through holiday. rooms were a good size but they looked a bit worn out due to previous stag/hen weekends and were not cleaned during our stay we even had to take our own rubbish out and dump it in the wheelie bins in the street, we had a few cockroaches for company.the pullout beds were broken and very uncomfortable and dirty, most of the electrical wall sockets were loose,kitchen once again a bit grubby which didn`t matter that much because once we had seen the cockroaches we decided to eat out all the time.we were always on edge as we couldn`t lock the balcony doors as the locks had been damaged and we had two 3yr old children.we also had to complain about people spitting at us from the balconys above whilst we were at the pool.the pool was poorly grouted and there were tiles missing which caused me to cut my foot,and it was not very clean.the surrounding area of the hotel is in a poor state in general,lots of dogs mess and rubbish along the streets.just to sum this holiday up water parks and zoo good value for money.entertainment at local bars/pubs very good,probably won`t go back to benidorm,definitely wont be staying at these appartments.don`t forget you have to pay 50 euros deposit on arrival for your room,and 20 euros for the safe.

i went to these apartments last summer there was 8 of us including a child at the age of one while we were there we had the lights in one of our rooms go out and then they wanted to move myself and to others to a speperate floor away from the others also in the other room there was a coakroach in the bathroom and when we did eventually all get moved there was a celing outside the room hanging down which was reported but nothing done about it also had to report guys from a few rooms above us spitting down on us but again nothing was done. also there is nothing for young ones to do at this hotel its more better for people who are just there for a weekend stag or hen do

Just come back from a week away at benidorm ther were 4 of us all together. The appartments were fantastic to say we payed hardly anything for them. lovely views and not too far away from all bars pubs and resturants. The maid only came once which was the only thing wrong. The service there was good very friendly . and the pool, was just right. i would recommend this place for either couples or hen and stag doos not for families as not much for kids to do.

We stayed at the Playamar apartments witch was clean with good size rooms. We were told we had a short walk from the apartments to the flamingo Benidorm where we were all-inclusive. This short walk turned out to be 20 25 mins from the apartments. Though there was a shortcut we were advised by the apartment staff not to take it as it was dangerous.
This was not told to us by sun4u.the cost of taxi fare came to 60eruo for the week back and fore the hotel.
I would advise anyone with children or elderly or disability not to consider this package all-inclusive at the flamingo Benidorm and stay at the Playamar apartments.
The view from the apartments also an eye sore looking over waste ground and building work going on.
The food and drink at the flamingo Benidorm I would rate 4 out of 10, entertainment 3 out of 10, bar staff 2 out of 10.
Overall very disappointing.
