weve stayed in this hotel for many years and have never had any problems!
The area is fantastic and the accomodation is nice and spacious. With a two year old child its nice because it is not in the centre of all the noise of protaras. We are going back again this year,and have never had any problems with the clenliness or the staff.This hotel is ideal for couples with young familys, its nice to have a quiet pool that isnt full of drunken louts and gangs of noisy children!!
would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this part of cyprus.

We have just come back from an eleven nights stay at the Ausoia Appartments, which i can trully say is the worst self catering appartments i have ever stayed in my life.
1. Our room was infested with Ants, which the reps comments were (" you do get them in hot countries") as if I'd never been on holiday before.
2. The swiming pool had broken glass round it for two days before it was cleaned up, eving then it was still ingrained in the grout.
3. the hotel reception was shared with about 7 cats who used the plant pots as there toilet.
4. A plate of food was left in the reception area for 5 days before it was moved
and finaly when we reported this to the Olympic holiday rep, she replied by saying some people like it. We asked to be moved on the first day but apparently Olimpic Holidays didn't have any other accomodation as it was all full. I can truly say i will not be coming back, the star 4 rating for these appartments is Grossly misinterpreted.

This is the second year we have stayed here two families with kids 16, 14,13,11,10 and 9.
The rooms are quite big with plenty of wardrobe space, we had 3 apartments and some other friends came and stayed here as well.
The only problem we had was the air con in two of the rooms never worked from the day we arrived until the day we left, but were given some fans.
We used the pool in the Anastasia hotel because there was more going on for the kids.
The Station Bar opposite was great and we spent a lot of time in there until quite late.
The food was good there as well. Really good holiday.

We have just come back from a week at the Ausonia apartments and were pleasantly surprised. We found them to be of a good standard as I think they have been updated since previous reviews. The twin beds were very comfortable (new) and the bathroom was lovely with a choice of bath or shower. We had maid service daily which I didn't expect so a bonus.
Our room overlooked the Station pub, which I would find a negative with small children, however, we enjoyed the atmosphere sat on the balcony with a wine afer a meal out.
The brochure details need updating as the pool area is no longer there which is disappointing as it looked lovely on the pictures. In its place is a water park which you have to pay 15 euros for adults and 7.50 euros for children. We used this once and had a good day with a 2 euro per person discount from the hotel. You do have use of the pool area of the Anastasia hotel next door, but never used it as it was so busy and overcrowded (even in October!)
We found the Polyxenia bar a short walk away along the beach, with free sunbeds and use of their pool etc and not crowded out so this was fine for us. Work buying a lunch a drinks.
We had a walk into Protaras along the new beach walkway which was a very pleasant 20 minute stroll, found a supermarket which had more choice for fresh foods, but preferred our quieter area to Protaras which I think is quite lively at night.
We ate at the 'only fools and horses' bar a couple of times and found the food very good value and well presented. The station opposite did takeaway food, and had a couple of pizzas one night which were made there and were great. We also ate at El Greco one night. The food was a bit more expensive but very good, it also had a really good play area at the side. One family we spoke to had ate there 3 times as they had 2 small children.
I found food a bit expensive, so was pleased I had taken a few bits including 24 weetabix, coffee, tea bags etc. Would take more next time including a cork screw!
Would definately go back to this complex.
