We have just had our 15th holiday at this hotel and have always found everything to be excellent, from the staff to the accommodation, the food, the service, the management could not do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We have already booked our next visit and would recommend it. Although the area has changed over the years it still has the feel of not being a tourist trap so you can still go for a meal in the old part of town if you wish. We found that if you said no to the hawker's in the shop's they would general leave you alone. We also found everyone to be friendly and helpful. The town itself has a mixture of ancient and modern so there should be something for everyone.
