I went to the Canarios Park with my baby 8mths and his Dad. My sister her partner and2 kids ages 6 and 2. For what we paid this holiday was ok but we were there for 2wks and sometimes bored , its a holiday that you have to be always one step ahead which is unfortunate as weto take our time on holiday. 10days is more advisable. food = never once ill, but did get repetative as quite same same and lots and lots of pork! but salad was fresh same as all the fruits... deserts were normally great. dining area can get very busy but we never had a problem getting a table! snacks were not great as normally cold and a horrid selection of junk food and the same every day. pools = were 2 deep and you have to get up by 8am to get sunbeds in the main area and lay towells not what u want to do but have no choice. as this seems to be family orintated i dont know why the baby pool is so small? for my son was no problem as i was always in the pool with him but for that bit older child u had to watch every move if not great swimmers. pool was full all the time and inflatables everywhere. wasps were a problem but only when cleaners didnt spray the floor in the morning or lazy people not putting there cups in the bin. entertainment = was ok but main shows for adults isnt till 10.30 pm and people would go straight after dinner to get a good table. which isnt what u need rush dinner or shower early so u get a table. only time we rushed to get a table was the michael jackson night where we got a table at the front, they used fireworks and the stage caught alight ! all of a sudden there was abit of panic and i just got as far away as poss. very dangerous and it did get out of control but finally put out! also the entertainment is around the main pool which isnt safe if u have that bit older kid that likes to run about! i did see one child fall in at night! so easy to happen rooms = clean only problem i had was they put us in a room above the stage area with a baby so there was no hope of going to sleep much before 12am as so loud so if u like acouple of early ones or peace ask to be at front of hotel on arrival not the back. but we stayed out till 12 anyways most nights just was the odd night. fresh towells and cleaned everyday. room enough for 3 and the only thing english on tv is sky news and sky world. hotel shop = is very overpriced alot cheaper in town train = overcrowded so mostly done the walk to town 20mins and we didnt mind it except crazy paving so not great with a buggy staff = same as everywhere some friendly and some not guests = lots of english , french and german we did have a nice holiday as its what u make it but if i had a child that needed more as mine was always in my arms i would not go to this hotel if my child was walking. my sister never left her child in the kids club im sure its great but the door was always wide open and kids sometimes do wonder off . weather was ok and we did enjoy it but i think next time ill pay alittle more for alittle more quality as my child gets older i need a place more safe. if your kids can swin and dont need contant watching then this place is ideal.

After reading negative reviews about this hotel i was aprehensive, however this was a brilliant resort and all of us had a brilliant time me,hubby and two kids aged 7 & 9. The food was great, the pool was great . the room was gr8 and the staff were absolutely brilliant !! and kept us entertained the whole holiday .So anyone thinking of going here definitely book it and forget all those negative reviews........

We read the reviews posted by some negative people wondering if we made the right choice to go there.I was so pleased to be proven wrong absolutely fantastic holiday.We travelled 2adults 3 kids 12 10 & 4 they loved the whole 2 weeks and didnt want to come home.The food was good although sometimes same old same old but very nice,kids ate all the time which was great no problems having to go into town for burger king all the time like other hotels.Loads to do during the day hardly ever had to leave hotel,archery shooting, table tennis and not forgeting the football game every day at 4o'clock magic.The kids clubs where great staff brilliant and very helpful entertainment team where so good especially mousse what a guy ,really funny and talented.Vanni,Venessa and Nijana where brilliant with the kids and great sports.A must do holiday will definetly be back next year.

We got back from our holiday on the 3 august, my husdand, myself and our 3 teenagers. Hotel was very clear the food was of agood standard, there was agood mix of people. But what made are holiday was regina the entertianment staff for the max club, we never saw the chidren during club time, even the shy one out of the three looked forward to Regina coming to get them for the club, welldone REgina you made my holiday a chilled one. We would go back to this hotel as the staff are very friendly

Canarios park has many facilities, apart from the swimming pools, they include, archery, tennis, mini golf and childrens play groups. The main swimming pools are rather deep, for inexperenced swimmers, there is a mini pool seperate for young children and toddlers. Everything is catered for, if you want to relax by the pool the bar is nearby, the restaurant is continously open from breakfast, offering snacks til lunch, then evening meal and evening snacks, the food is average all inclusive, there is something for everyone. Rooms are basic, cleaned everyday, the staff we met were helpful and polite, The only downside is that the hotel is quite a distance from main town, and the freemini bus only runs every hour, which is always full , if you're agile the walk takes about half an hour into town, which is where the main beach is the beaches are beautiful and clean, take a bus from outside the hotel to markets and local resorts, there is a walk to quieter beach from hotel that takes about 20 mins, it is on a dirt track, but it is a secluded spot, i give canarios park 5 out of ten, simply improved with better transport to town.

My family and I have just returned from Majorca and found the hotel to be clean and inviting. The food was very good with a variety available. I would have liked to have seen a variety in snacks as these consisted of chips, burgers and sausages at non-meal times. We were never up early enough to get a bed by the main pool and felt sorry for those people who felt it necessary to get up so early to book their place by the pool. We preferred the baby pool as we have small children or the pool in the sports complex as these were never as crowded. The cab journey from the airport took 50 minutes and cost us 70 Euros, although the journey back only cost 56 Euros. The trip on the train into town was unpredictable. Trains only operate once an hour and you have to be queuing at least 15 minutes before to get on. A cab into town costs 4 Euro and was the option we took most of the time. There is a wide selection of drinks available, but I don't like plaistic cups (even though I understand their necessity) and the soft drinks are the sugary soda stream type. I do realise that most of our problems arose from the time of year we had to travel but there were not enough tables and chairs at night for all people staying, and there was the same situation with the sunbeds where people tended to claim their tables early in the evening. On the whole we did have a good time and the weather was excellent!

I really couldn't have asked for a better place to go to chill out and laze by the pool all day. Exactly what I needed after a nightmare year so far. I cant understand why people are slating this place because I couldn't fault it. Ok there was a bit of a smell by the pool but it didn't last all day just every now and then, and it would only ruin your holiday if you let it. I will say to anyone who is going there, please ignore all negative reviews because this should really by a 4star at the very least. The music was repeated every night but thats only coz they done a mini disco EVERY night for the children and considering its a family orientated place how can that be bad thing. I only got back on the 30/07/05 and I really wish I was still there. I never saw a single cockroach. FABBO!!!

After reading past reviews we were also a little worried about going. But we found the hotel Very clean, food excellent, it maybe was a little repetative but very good quality. It was great to eat the spanish cuisine, the kids loved it and ate really well. It was excellent value for money. The only negative was it was in the middle of no where but you could walk into town, which we did every day with a buggy and 2 young lads ( 8 & 5). Each day we were quicker. ( Approx 20 mins) A lovely relaxing holiday and we would certainly consider going back there again. The rooms were very clean and they were cleaned every day and the towels were always fluffy and white. You will certainly enjoy the holiday there. A very relaxed way of life. The staff were all friendly and our complements to the Chef.

Weve been back 2 days and already we are planning to return in September. Not only is it a great hotel, very clean and food is good but the staff are amazing. Entertainment is brilliant and all staff including entertainment staff become part of the family for the duration of your stay. The town is only a 10 minute walk but you can also get a mini train. The town is full of night life and is where you can find the beautiful beach with its white sand and turquiose water. A 15/10 holiday. Cant wait to go back and we're sure anybody who is lucky enough to stay at Canarios Park would love it as much as we did!
Great hotel, Excellent Staff from A TripAdvisor Member
We have just returned from this hotel and I must say it was the best All Inclusive hotel we have been too yet. My party consisted of me my partner and 2 kids both girls 8 and 5. We arrived too early to check into the room and was told that the people in the room was just checking out so we would have to wait a while, Check in was not untill 2pm and we arrived at 11.30am. The reception staff Radio through to the cleaners and asked them to prioritise the room as we were waiting, within an hour we were in the room. The food was ok but i dont thing i could have stayed for two weeks as it started getting a bit repetitive but at least it was edible, even my youngest ate most things and she is a bit fussy. The main pool would be my only grip as the shallowest part was 1.4m which is no good for the youngest if they cant swim and the small baby pool is around the corner out of site of the main pool. We had a couple of things which were not working properly in the room like the patio door and wardrobe door but once i reported them they were fixed very quickly. We took a trip on the mini train to the beach which was ok and FREE but be careful because if you try to board the train from anywhere other than the beach or the hotel you will have to pay but its only 1 Euro per person. As for the beach its very clean and the water is also clear, the beds are a bit pricey but its better than sitting on the sand. I would not recommend going to the beach by the path from the back of the hotel unless your a hiker as its a bit rough. The Hotel entertainment team put on the shows at night and i must say that they are Excellent all the shows were funny and well prepared and a lot better than the usual hotel entertainment. Overall I would say this is probably the best hotel we have ever stayed in on holiday and i would go back again.
