Just returned from a fab all inclusive holiday here. Think it must of been one of hottest
weeks of the century - certainly needed to make use of all those free drinks ! Two great pools and one tiny pool for the babies, kids play area, all set in lovely gardens, the pictures on the internet dont do this place justice, we were really impressed when we arrived.
Food great, more than enough choice - paid more in the past with an inferior menu. Something for everyone to eat here from pizza to paella. Desert table repetitive but vast nevertheless. Entertainment at night poor. One good night, rest seemed to be bingo.
Closest beach was dirty so we used the free 'train' to the towns main beach which was really lovely. Big surf on two of the days which surprised me as its a smallish cove, but my two boys loved it! rest of time calm, clear, warm water.....bliss.

" FANTASTIC FAMILY HOLIDAY!! "

Just got back from a ten day all inclusive break, myself and 3 kids (aged 13, 10 and 8) and have to say we all had the most fantastic time. We had a family room (twin beds, bunk beds), not massive but you're only in there to sleep so not a problem. Two pools, both clean, with bars by both, and a huge restaurant with a massive selection of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner times. Even if your kids are the fussiest eaters in the world, they will find something suitable throughout the day. The staff are helpful and friendly, especially the entertainment staff - thanks to you all for organising the activities throughout the day. Definitely not a place to come for romantic couples due to the families here (and if you're a romantic couple why would you want to be surrounded by kids anyway?). But DEFINITELY a place for families, with children of all ages kept entertained during the day and night. The beauty of Canarios Park is the choice - if you want to sit by the pool all day and do nothing, then you can. But if you want to take part in various sporting activities (volleyball, water polo, archery, pistol shooting, tennis, football etc) then you can. There is something for everyone here, we had a great ten days here and would 100% come back again. I cannot say a bad word about the place.
Advice: Two really nice beaches, town okay if you like tacky souvenir shops and bars

No air con, rooms way too small, balcony tiny but you can just squeeze on it with a kids mattress, prepare to be stung as there are loads of wasps on the pool floor area so step on one at your peril, pools sadly not very clean, food warm but again sadly average, we are a family of 2 adults 5 young kids, we met a lot of nice people hear in our 2 weeks that we stayed, but sadly for me as i am english nearly every night was fight night and you guessed it it was the good old english that could not keep a lid on it, i was going to rate this lower than a 5 but that would not be fair to the entertainment team as they worked as hard as possible to keep us all entertained but they were only five of them so they had an uphill struggle, they took a lot of abuse when we were there from rude english and one even got grabbed by the throat by an english man at 4pm on one of the days at the top pool in front of all the kids, the bar staff were friendly but two drinks at one time and be prepared to wait awhile for your drinks in the evening as only one small bar, so thumbs up for the entertainers and a big thumbs down for the hotel and fight night english and also no snack bar at the pool and you will be stopped it you take food out of the restaurant.

Well what can I say.. we were pleasently surprised with this hotel. We booked as a last minute get away without the kids! and in all honesty, we couldn't really fault it. It is a good 3***.
The room was very clean although the beds weren't that comfy. The maids came in every day and made the beds and cleaned up. We had a good view and a constant breeze which helped in the evenings as we kept the door open to keep the room cool as there is no air-con.
The pools were lovely. We used the one at the back of the hotel as the one at the front seemed to be the one that families used. I think this was because the pool wasn't so deep over there. The pool area was jet washed every morning and the pool was also cleaned too. Then only downfall was the amount of wasps and I actually did get stung. But this was due to inconsiderate people not throwing away there used cups and also not clearing away there spillages. So this attracted them.
The food was fine. There was a good choice all day. My husband ate lots of the meat that was freshly griddled at the back of the restaurant and he said it was lovely. It is also kept very clean in the the restaurant.
There is a free train that takes you to the main beach and this beach is trully stunning with its cristal clear blue waters. You could easily be in the carribean. We found the town expensive, but being all inclusive we didn't need to eat or drink out at all. The hotel provides a picnic for you to take out for your beach days.
All in all I think this was a good value holiday and I WOULD go back.

Me and my wife (32 - 33) have just arrived back from 1 weeks holiday here with 3 children aged 5-6-7 and every one LOVED it. When you read some of the other reviews you may think gutted what have I booked. I am not a holiday reporter just telling the truth so it gets a realistic review so you know what you get.The first thing is that you must remember this is a cheep all inclusive holiday at a 3*** hotel, not a 4* or 5* I payed £1,550 puond for 5 people inc flights from my local airport. This was good as I've been looking for months for a last minit holiday, and at the end of the day you do pay for what you get. The Hotel is clean with a maid servise every day, the food is good and varied yes there is pizza and chips but thats only 1 small part of your choise, my children are very picky and they enjoyed the food every day from breakfst till late snacks. There are 2 main pools the main family pool is at the front of the front of the hotel which we used the whole holiday and my kids loved again there are some wasps around the pool but more hornet size and they just kept to them selves and didn't bother any kids or sting any children while I stayed ther for the week. May be if the people that complained put some of there used cups in the bin after they have finished there drink insted of leaving it near there sunbed the wasps would not be there at all.( just an observation)
The evening entertainment at the hotel was pretty poor but kept my children entertained till there bed time which was between 10-11 oclock on the nights that we stopped in the hotel. My only thing that the hotel could change is that it has no air-con in the rooms but all we did was keep the blacony patio door open all night we were on the 5th floor so had no issuse with bugs or insects, never saw a mosqueto for the whole holiday on that point. The mini train to the MAIN beach was great some times busy but you can stand or its frequent enough to just catch the next. A Taxi was only 5 euros to the and the beach or the walk from behind the hotel along the sea edge itself only took about 30min, once you get to the MAIN beach it is great blue water kids loved it.
Just make your own oppinion don't listen to all the negative, If you go on a holiday wanting to find faults you will find them at any hotel. If you go on hoilday for a good time and a break you'll have a great time..

arrived at 11pm on sunday night after spending 2n half hours on the transport from airport, was put on bottom floor wich was good as i had 2 small children with me. the room was a bit on the small side for a family of 5, my 2 smallest children had to sleep toghter on bottom bunk as top bunk was to dangerous, as it only had a plank of wood nailed to it as safty bar. rooms were cleaned everyday but were teaming with ants (that bite) reported it to reception but nothing was done.they had no aircon but as my room was facing towards the sea we had to sea brezze during the night so that helped.
FOOD- were do i start, same choice every 2 days, and left overs from dinner were made into anouther meal for tea, breakfast had undercook sasuages and bacon, cold beans. and dinner /tea was no better, i spent the whole week eating chesse/ham sandwiches
ENTERTAINMENT- out of 7 nights had one good night, rest was a 30 min mini disco for kids and the rest was the hotel staff trying thier best but failing lol, couldnt relax because entertainment area was right next to the 10ft deepest area of the pool, with no safty in place, in one place the grids round the pool were broken and i seen a young girl fall into the broken grid and cut her foot quit badly
POOL- pools were great, i spend all time round the sport one to the back of the hotel, they had a bar open from 11am till 5pm. loved this pool, ok there were wasps everywere 2 of my children got stung in the pool, but cant blame hotel for this, as wasps are wasps, but the toilets were very dangerous with wet tiled and seen lots of people fall, none of the toilet doors lock in this hotel inside or around pools
LOCATION- bit far away from town but free train ride (with very missrable driver)from hotel to main beach, and small walk to town, wich consist of loads of diffrent shops all selling the same stuff,and the beach closest to the hotel is NOT 400m down the road, it takes like 30 min to walk to there down a dirt track but well worth the walk
i wouldnt go there again, but saying that my kids loved it, but then again aslong as there is a pool kids will love anywere

Having returned from a 1week stay at Canarios Park, myself, sister and 3 young children we had a wonderful time. After reading some of the reviews left we went dreading what we were to find but were very pleasantly surprised. Hotel all just been painted and looks good, photos on the internet do not do justice.
The food as with most AI can be repetitive but always something for everyone to eat. Dining room was air conditioned and the waiters and waitresses were always attentive. Packed lunches available if you decide to go to the beach.
The pools were fantastic, found the 2nd pool across the road much better for us with children and thats also where majority of adults games and entertainment was.
Childrens club was on 6days out 7 for few hours a day, not the greatest but we weren't there to pack our children off on someone else to look after.
Hotel is some distance from the resort centre, it could be walked but not great for children. There is the tram that is free to the beach - then a short walk to shops, but u have to pay for tram if u want dropped off at shops - bit strange as a taxi is only 4euro and this is the cheaper option.
We went away for a cheap stress free week and thats exactly what we got. I would recommend this to others, I have been and its great.

had a great time at this hotel, one of the best i holiday i have had in the last two years. booked it on the internet got 4 of my friends to come along and we all had a ball. the food was good warm, yes some of the dishes were on twice but what do you want!!! the rooms were clean and maid gave us clean towels every day and made our beds. the staff were friendly. there were alot of english people who done nothing but complain, and when the had a skin full of drink and the bar man siad no more kicked uo a fuss. yes there were ants but thats because children unsupervised were at the sluchpuppy machine, well you now what happens, the staff did clen it up and put the amchine out of use. not much more to say other than well impressed we had only be up the coast two weeks before and the hotel we stayed in was not even half the hotel this one was. i intend to book to come back here next year and its not because its cheap its because of the staff and the hotel in general. thatnk you to the staff for a greta break.

just DONT do it. hi, been on loads of holidays, and never had any problems related to hotels before, all except this one! I, like yourself, read reviews on this place, and probably like you, thought o well, maybe they were just nit-picking and wanted something to complain about, so i will go any way.
hotel appears clean. but when you look closer, the place was teeming with ants, and thats just the INSIDE. the bar has a slushy machine, and from the floor area right up to this, was the biggest army of ants ive ever seen, no doubt of course, after the drippings from this slush machine. and this is just 'one' area.
the food - all these negative reviews of food on here made me think 'it surely cant be all that bad' . . can it? there is a vast array of food to choose from dont get me wrong on that one, and approx half of it is edible, so there has got to be something for everyone. and yes that is the case, until you plate it up, sit down to eat to find out some of it is 'stone' cold.
99% of the staff looked completely exhausted, and attempt to offer a smile if required. the most cheerful person was the domestic / room cleaner!
i ended up with a rip roaring infection, that started in my right ear and quickly spread to my whole neck and throat area. the staff new very LITTLE of the medical services available. so i forked out for 2 doctor consultations. meanwhile my face swelled up to make me look like a side shot of POPEYE !!
I COULD GO ON. im normally quite a positive person, but not this time.

I stayed there for two weeks with my family and my partner.I found the hotel clean and very well presented.The staff were very friendly and hard working.The resturant provided a very good choice of quality meals.I was also impressed with the swimming pools and the different activities on offer.Overall very good accomodation and would definately recommend it to anyone! The only minor grumbles i had was the lifts were insufficient in both size and number making it quicker to use the stairs. this may be a problem if you are on the sixth floor! The other complaint i had was the number of parents shall we say taking full advantage of the all inclusive bar leaving their children to run wild! The small beach located near the hotel is sadly quite dirty and rocky,and the sea full of jellyfish! On a positive note the larger beach is cleaner and jellyfish free! The town also offers a good selection of bars and resturants and is very close to the hotel.A really good resort for all age groups and families alike.

great clean hotel, beds made every day. staff pleasant. food bit repetitive but very nice.
pool clean, no wasps. walked to beach every day. weather brill. OTHER GUESTS IGNORANT. where were they from? ENGLAND, although we did meet some nice 1's the rest were too gobby. hotel was magic apart from entertainment take a radio with you it would have been better.

last minute holiday ended up here, reception and staff were helpfull. we asked for low floors but got put on 4th, the resteraunt was clean but the choice of food wasnt very nice it was the same menu every day. got better food when we went out to the center of resort. I WOULDNT GO BACK TO HERE IF THE HOLIDAY WAS FREE!!!!

I read the reveiws before going but thought we could make our own mind up 2 adults 14 yrs girl and 9 year old girl and 2 year old boy,
arrived greeted by oldish man receptionist he was very pleasent, (the old women she a dragon by the way) went to our rooms very clean 3/3 balcony very small with chairs watch your kids 2/3
bar well quite good kids enjoyed getting the pop and slushies by the way the bees dont sting they are honey bees only interested in sweet i have had 3 on me at a time they just want sugar not you, local alchol quite the same as any other drink larger my husband said was not great 2/3
pools were cleaned daily and checked regularly bit deep for non swimmers but the one accross the road was not so deep 3/3 (keep away from the baby pool no chlorine and lots of babys in nappies and all those little nasties in the nappies going in to the water
can make you extremely ill so what can it do to a little child? big pools have chlorine)
