Great Hotel, lt down by self catering facilities & holiday rep/travel agent
from Sarge707
Have now stayed bot B&B and SC and would reccommend bed and breakfast because the self catering facilities are really poor e.g 2 hobs, 1bowl. 2plates, few forks, spoons etc. The Food in the resort is the best ive tasted so no need to worry about that. Would reccommend the Tsililivi Taverna Highly and also Rominos!!!Excellent!!!The Rooms right on the beachfront are the best views but i think these are kept for the greeks italiens, locals etc. Would Highly Reccommend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic Hotel and beach.

I have just returned from a girlie week away, what a wonderful week we had. The hotel is fabulous catering for your every need. The rooms were fantastic, good maid service, clean and not a creepy crawlie in sight. Shop open all day doesnt close for siesta. Fantastic views over the pools and sea. Location great - visit the Summertime bar 100 metres up the road. If you decide to go on a boat trip go at the beginning and not at the end as the wind can pick up and you could miss out as we did, still it now means we will have to go back. The greek people are great.
Excellent Hotel much better than I expected

My daugher and I have just returned from two weeks at the Tsivili Beach Hotel and it was lovely. We stayed in the bed and breakfast rooms which were very big and very clean, the room had an excellent bathroom with shower and a bath and there was always hot water. The maid service was excellent clean sheets and towels everyday, and they always took the time to stop and play with my 20 month old daughter. The breakfast was very good lots of variety and in good supply. The hotel run Greek night was amazing the best I have been to in Greece I would definetily recommend it. I would also like to recommend the Moby Dick taverna it is on the beach just next to the Zakintha Hotel it is fantastic if you have children. It has a lovely play area and the staff are great, the food is amaing and a very reasonible price. Be careful if you go on a horse and carrige ride, the prices can vary and distances of rides can be different from carrige to carrige. In all I would totally recommend Tsivili for holidays it has everything for everyone.
Wonderful and the best so far...

I loved this hotel, it was sooo clean, the view was amazing and everything was just perfect. I couldnt fault the hotel in the slightest at all it was very clean - the room was lovely and the food was good. I loved the pools they were just superb. It was a wonderful holiday all in all - but i would recommend this hotel to anyone it was one of the best in tsilivi. Also - there is a great little taverna accross the road - with a tiny pool in it - the owner was hilarious and always warm and welcoming!! It has been a while since i have been here but i wanted to write my opinion since i am looking for some info on my hotel this year - as the web so helpful.
Excellent again!

We stayed in the studios part of the hotel from 23-30th June 06. We also stayed there this time last year! Once again everything was perfect. The men in the Boathouse are brilliant. Our favourite place to eat is The Red Lion about 5 ish minutes walk from the hotel, on the main Tsilivi Road. Already looking up prices for next year!
wonderful holiday

My husband and I have just returned from tsilivi zante where we stayed at the wonderful hotel tsilivi beach it is very clean and we were fortunate to have a view of the ocean and pool the staffare extremely helpful. The only down side would be our own english bretheren yes! they put their towels on the sun beds at midnight not just one or two but groups of six and seven however luckily the hotel is on the beach hence we had to pay 6 euros each day so if you do go remember other people also like the free loungers tsilivi is the place to be Maeve Parker England
Excellent Resort and Hotel

We stayed at the Tsilivi Beach Hotel from 21st May - 29th May 2006. It was our honeymoon :) We stayed in the B&B part of the hotel, although pretty basic, it was spotlessly clean and the maids came around everyday and cleaned everything in sight! The sheets were changed and new towels daily. Lovely polite people at the hotel. We ate breakfast that the hotel provided most days. It was the continental type breakfast, but not bad and quite filling! But the last day we caved in and craved an english fry up! So we found Freddies Beach bar, further along the beach from the hotel. Rita, the lady who runs it with her hubby, was very friendly and nice and did us a cracking fry up and mugs of tea and the most amazing freshly squeezed orange juice! We had a snack type lunch most days at the Boathouse taverna, which is right on the beach infront of the hotel. The waiters in there were great! We spent most evenings trying to decide which restaurant/taverna we were going to eat at next!! The choice is amazing for such a small resort! Our favourite place to eat was most definately Nemesis and Giorgios was good too! The best bars were '2 Brothers', an absolute scream, wonderful atmosphere! and ' level bar' was good too. The only down side of our holiday was the flower sellers that pestered us constantly at night. They came in all the bars and were very annoying! You just have to be very firm and say No quite a lot!! The beach was amazing. So clean and any amount of sun loungers to hire. Very safe for the kids too! The pool at the hotel was extemely clean too and so safe for children. There was no hassle with sun loungers there either. More than plenty to go around! We will certainly go back to the same place. Hopefully next year at the same time! Hope this has helped! Fi and Carl
Fantastic holiday!!

I stayed at the Tsilivi Beach with my boyfriend on the 20th May for a week. We had one of the best holidays ever. Everything about it was excellent with the exception of the breakfast which was not the best. I would advise people to go to the Summertime Bar just up the road from the hotel. They do the best english breakfast and it's only 5.30€. The rooms were very nice. Ours had a sea view but I would try and get a pool view when we go back. Our room also overlooked the road and it was abit noisy from time to time during the night. There are plenty of sunloungers around the pool so there was no need to go down at the crack of dawn to reserve them but people still did. The hotel is right on the beach as well so you can have the best of both worlds. You can eat in the hotel restaurant which we did on a couple of nights. The food is very good and well priced. We also ate in a couple of restaurants the were mentioned on Trip Advisor. Popeye's was a popular choice and a lot of the people there had gone after reading the Trip Advisor site. The only down side was that we had to wait an hour to check into the room. After arriving at Gatwick at 4am, all we wanted to do was get into the room so that we could get ready to go down to the pool asap and relax. They had a lot of regular clients arriving at the same time as us and we noticed that they didn't have to wait!! The reception staff apologised for the delay and the rest of the holiday more than made up for it!! We are planning to goback at the same time next year and I can't wait. I've already looked into the prices and will be booking soon. I would advised anyone thinking about staying here to do it. It a fab hotel in a fab location!!!
Amazing hotel

I stayed at the Tsilivi Beach Hotel in October 2005. I went with my boyfriend, he was 26 and I was 18 at the time. It was a great hotel, I'll sort things out below into order! Food - we stayed bed and breakfast, and the breakfast wasn't great, and in the breakfast room, it was REALLY smokey, so we went to place called Popeyes, just up the road, it was about 5 euros for an AMAZING breakfast, and other meals too. They were such nice folks up there, I'd recommend this place for your food! Also, as we went in the last week of the season, the restaurant on the hotel site had run out of most food, but what we did have was cooked beautifully. Pools - the pools were brilliant when you got in, (it's a bit cooler in October), lots of lilos people had left etc. they were cleaned everyday. Rooms - the room was really great, clean and tidy, the floor was like that shiny stuff you have on the kitchen floor, but the slab like thing! Don't know what it's called, but could've done with a mop after being in the pool as it got quite slippy. The rooms were cleaned daily and the cleaners were very friendly. The bathroom was very nice and modern, I understand the hotel was reburbished recently, and they did a very good job. Entertainment - not much at all, but as I said, we went in the last week. The reps were great (we travelled with Thomas Cook) and they organised a big night out one night, with meal and entertainment for their holiday guests from all resots. This was a great night, really good fun. Service - They hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming, we paid 20 euros for a late checkout which was well worth it as we flew in the early morning. They kept my passport for the duration of the stay, but I understand this is the norm in lots of hotels. Value - we paid about £500 for two people for the whole trip (flights, insurance etc) and only booked a week before we travelled. It was GREAT value for money, and I'd definately go again - I'm going to Cyuprus this year, as I'm not old enough to go to the same place every year JUST yet! When I'm older I'll settle into a rota of holidays! The hotel is RIGHT on the beach and only about a 3 minute walk from town. I recommend the mini gold. The couple who run the bar there are very nice, and the lady is acutally from America, so can understand you well! But definately go to Popeyes - I have mugs and key rings from there now which they gave me before we left. Oh, one of the perks of going in the last week of the season, is, the tourists shops are practically giving things away to you. Also, I recommend the trips around the island on the boat. We also went on a coach trip around the island, organised through Thomas Cooks reps. This was good and interesting, but take some trousers for going in the chapel, as you can't go in with shorts on. Only problem with this, was we couldn't really hear what the guide was saying too well. Think her microphone had broken!. All in all, this hotel was GREAT and I'd recommend it to anyone. If you want any more info, don't hesitate to get in touch with me.
Nice little place to go to in Greece

We had a week at the Tsilivi Beach Hotel. From the outside and reception, the hotel looks great. Pool is also nice and big and there are lots of sunloungers. When we couldn't find space we just went onto the beach which is a few metres away. Our room however was disappointing. We had no air con for 5 days, and in the blistering July heat in Greece, it was pretty unbearable. We told the hotel and our rep about the air con loads of times and nothing was done for what seemed like forever. The receptionists felt so sorry for us they gave us their fan to borrow! When the air-con was finally fixed, it then leaked water all over our balcony! We booked a triple room which was a twin with an extra bed, which we were expecting to be a little cramped, but it was absolutely tiny with no space for anything or even to put our clothes away. Breakfast was also not great, not much choice at all and stale food. However we weren't expecting it to be really up to much and got our own after the first day! There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel. The hotel restaurant on the beach is great. Overall it was a nice holiday. Locals are very friendly. You couldn't really improve on the location of the hotel. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars, and right on the beach. Pool was lovely. One more thing though, just be prepared for a long and hot wait at the airport in Zante both arriving and departing, that wasn't pleasant at all!
Just returned from 10days at the Tsilvi and was very disappointed. Food repetitive and below standard, the only waiter service was when they removed you plates. Snack bar would not serve food while restaurant was open so had to go out and pay to get a good meal. Drinks... more
