The food was boring and tasteless. Rooms were very small and looked like they were out of the 1970's, nothing like the picture in the brochure.The shower was the same room as the toilet, sink. etc.(meaning literally no seperate partition between them) The bathroom was so small that after the shower you had to step into the bedroom to get dried mainly because of the bathroom floor filling up with the water from the shower. This was not the smallest room as we were moved from an even smaller one that I wouldnt have fit into the shower and the bathroom door actually opened onto the bed but not fully.
The staff in the hotel were very unfriendly and the main receptionist was quite rude at times.(except for one young waiter who seemed to work all the hours he could) Your dinner was practically thrown at you and the chef basically looked miserable all the time we were there.
We made our holiday enjoyable ourselves as we spent alot of money to stay here and were determined it wouldnt be spoilt, we kept out of the rooms as much as possible (luckily the weather allowed us to do this) but if we had been reliable on the comfort of this hotel it would have definately been the worst holiday I have ever had!

We arrived at the hotel and were allocated rooms in the Mini Caravelle which is an annex of the caravelle(you probably haven't been shown any pictures by any tour operator)this building is far from modern and needs updating especially the bathrooms and air conditioning.
the restaurant food is bland at its best and should be avoided.there are plenty of places to eat nearby but for a family it works out quite pricey especially as you've already paid for hotel food.the rooms are cleaned daily but not to a very good standard,we found food leftovers and toiletries behind the bedside tables from the previous guests.After using the shower the bathroom couldn't be used for 10-15 mins while the water drained away but you can use this time to mop out the spillage from the bedroom.the reception staff were rude and unfriendly but you can blame that on having to cope with all the disgruntled guests.but hey at least the sun shone.ps dont go in room 31
