Puerto Cala Vadella Apartments

We have just come back from an excellent holiday in Cala Vadella Ibiza. We stayed at the Puerto Cala Vadella Apartments and we would recommend them. They are 2/3 star and were very spacious and clean.
They only had two gas rings for cooking though so you could not really cook a good meal on them and the local shops did not have a good selection of fresh meat etc. We had a family room overlooking the pool. We ate at the accommodation a couple of times and it was edible and very reasonable and was great with a young child as the complex was very child friendly. Evening meal was 10 euros for as much as you could eat and the breakfast was 5 euros for as much as you could eat (no bacon and eggs in sight though as it is a continental breakfast).
The staff were great and very friendly and spoke fantastic English. There were a couple of English holidaymakers but must of the guests are Dutch and German but they spoke English and were very friendly to us.
The accommodation has a good pool and baby pool and sun loungers were plentiful. The holidaymakers left boats, parasols, beach mats, buckets and spades etc for future holiday makers which we thought a brilliant idea.
The location is fantastic. If you stayed in the resort you could go without shoes for the whole holiday as the accommodation leads straight onto the beach and the bars and restaurants all front the beach. The resort shows the real hippy side of Ibiza. There are five restaurants in the resort and two snack bars and these also double up as bars if you just want a drink. The sunsets are spectacular from this resort and the bay is very child friendly and pretty. Not a lager lout in sight and fantastic for a relaxing beach holiday.
There is a bus to Ibiza town every two hours which takes around 50 minutes and the last bus back from Ibiza town is 9pm. It costs approx 25 euros in a taxi from the airport to the accommodation.
We would strongly recommend this accommodation but we would say take some ear plugs as the floors are not soundproofed and guests seemed to insist of pushing the twin beds back together at 7.30am on a morning.
