This hotel is quiet; being about 40 minutes walk from Skala centre but a courtesy bus runs morning and late afternoon.
The food was good and staff very helpful. The hotel was very clean and well maintained.
Facilities such as aircon, safe and fridge were included (we usually have to pay extra) and the poolside toilet block also included a shower cubicle with hairdryer, great for that last day when we'd checked out hours before departure.
There was also a small play area for children and the pool was the best I've ever experienced, large and clean. The only downside was the hardness of the mattress.
I'd definitely re-visit.

Stayed at this hotel 2nd Sept 2006 very impressed on arrival the reception was very bright and clean.
The room we were allocated was spotless but up a lot of steps view were amazing. The first couple of days we ate in the hotel but this became very boring as the food was often the same and often cold if you were not down at 7.30 exactly. The entertainment was (well there was none).
The walk into Skala took aprox 30mins downhill which was ok but not suitable for people with walking problems.
This is the 4th time I have visited Greece and even though the resort was amazing the staff didn’t go overboard with helpfulness apart from Julie on reception, enjoyed the break and a fantastic pool area but you pay for all food and drinks at the end of your holiday so beware as this can soon add up.
Would I visit this hotel again? No, as I am used to the Greek people being really friendly not the case in this hotel.
Went on the 3 island cruise amazing and so was the beach barbecue

The hotel was very clean bright and airy. The couple that owned it were always very happy to see you and made our stay an amazing experience.
The resort was lovely very small and there were not too many touristy places which were great. The beaches along the resort were great i never saw a piece of rubbish on them. If you take a walk round the beach about half an hours walk from the main beach is a brilliant practically deserted beach where you catch the last of the days sun and the sea is slightly warmer due to being shallow quite a way out.
All in all it is a great place to go if you wish to see some real Greek life and not be over run with tourist attractions whilst at the same time having every thing you could possible need or want.

This was a beautiful hotel, situated at the far end of Skala town. I’d suggest hiring a car if staying here, as it was a 45-minute walk to the local bars/restaurants. The beach is just across the road; steps lead down to the quiet and secluded beach although we walked further up the road so we had the beach to ourselves!
On booking in at reception you’re given the remote control for your TV and a remote control for the air conditioning. This hotel comprises of around 10 separate buildings and we had 3 different sets of stairs to climb up to our room - so be warned!
The views are stunning, however. We had our own private balcony and had views of the sea ahead and to the right of us the swimming pool, which is spacious with a little bridge over it. There’s a bar at the pool and another in the reception area, along with a large seating area both indoors and outside overlooking the sea.
The food was excellent - a great selection of hot and cold dishes for breakfast. Dinner always had choice of meat and fish as well as pasta and chips for the kiddies. Dessert was ice cream or many delicious local pastries - baklava a must!
Worth mentioning is that this hotel has its own money system which is changed up at reception. They use 'Porto Skala' money for the bars and anything you’re likely to buy around the hotel. The rooms provide a kettle but you have to pay for the sugar and milk at reception (!). A soft drink was around 2 euros in the restaurant and wine can be purchased also.
Rooms were of average size with a largish wardrobe and a shower in the bathroom. The beds were two singles pushed together. Some rooms had inter connecting doors and the tv had BBC World and MTV but little else in English! There was supposed to be an 'internet corner' advertised in the brochure but it wasn’t up and running when we returned at the beginning of June.
Overall - staff are very friendly and helpful. I can’t really fault the service or the hotel, it was very clean and the views were a joy. Just be warned of the high climbs, there are a lot of stairs here that some people may find a problem.
Highly recommended.

The hotel is in a lovely location overlooking the sea about a 2 mile walk into the town which we only did once and then used the courtesy bus at 8.30pm every evening and got a taxi back for 5 euros later that night. The hotel apartments are kept spotless and the beds changed everyday, if you needed clean towels just leave them in the bath or shower. The rooms had air conditioning a hair dryer and a radio. the breakfasts catered for every one, cereals, yoghurt, greek honey, boiled eggs 5 mins and 3 mins, omelettes, sausages, bacon, beans, fresh bread and a toaster as well as 3 different fruit juices, tea and coffee and a large variety of fresh fruits, the only niggly thing was the food was just warm and not hot. The pool area was great with showers and even had a play area for the kids, mini crazy golf, swing, slide and table tennis, food was also available from the pool bar which opens around 10.45 and not 10 as advised but hey thats GMT for you. You have to put everything on a tab which at first is bit daunting, we kept a track of ours and i must say when we settled up on the morning we left the computerised bill was spot on. All in all a smashing week and i would definatley recommend it to people with small kids and couples.
