The reception was very good & the rooms were OK for a base, but we went self catering & there was a very small area behind 2 doors for what was supposed to be the kitchen. Only a Hotplate with 2 plates, NO toaster, kettle took about 10 - 15mins to heat, so even if we wanted... more

Good value for money.
I booked this hotel early 2009 as it was the cheapest All Inclusive option I could find. 3 of my friends had stayed here the year before and I had visited the hotel and saw that it was very clean and seemed to be a nice place to stay. We were slightly optimistic after booking though because my friends said that the only All Inclusive drinks they had was wine and beer. When we arrived at 2am, the night porter looked as though he was sleeping but came over to check us in. He cannot speak any English and he kept signalling for us to keep quiet, even though we were only talking at normal level. We checked in and got in the tiniest lift to go to our room which was for 3 people, room 309. I personally think that the room was suited for 2 people and they threw in an extra bed. There was a cupboard, 2 bedside tables, a table with 2 small chairs inside and on the balcony and kitchenette facilities (2 hobs, sink, cupboard, limited utensils). I must say that the room was very clean and we had a nice view of the pool and San Antonio Bay. The bathroom was clean but the sink looked like it was about to break and the toilet was placed in the smallest of spaces behind the door - bigger people would definitely find it hard to use the toilet comfortably, plus the toilet used to rock :-S The shower was like a power hose which can be good when you need a nice refreshing shower to cure a hangover but not so good when you least expect it and water goes everywhere. The Air Conditioning was crap, it took me ages to work out how to use it with the remote lol, its a 10 euro deposit for a week. Throughout my 10 day stay I only ate at the hotel a handful of times, mainly because I kept missing breakfast, was out at lunch and ate dinner on the beach front most nights. From what I did eat, the food was very basic, but nice. Tuna Steaks, Pasta, Salad, Bread, Mussells, Paella, Chicken Breast. The breakfast was Scrambled Eggs, Bacon and Sausages. It was nice to see them cooking the steaks fresh in front of you. The drinks were fine, the measures were very generous and they always asked if I wanted more alcohol in the cup! I found that all the staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful even though their English is very limited. At the end of the day we were on a Spanish speaking Island so put in some effort and try and speak the native language - it doesn't hurt. The hotel is definitely used for Italian package holidays, i'm guessing through a company called inViaggi. The hotel entertainment is in Italian and they do a lot to entertain the Italian guests. If you want to join in, all you have to do is ask. My friend did scuba diving lessons in the pool for 5 euros and she really enjoyed it. The swimming pool is quite big. There are toilets, showers, baggage area, gym and jacuzzi downstairs so you can check out and still have access to everything in the hotel. The only downside to staying here I would say is the night porter. He is very rude and doesn't speak any English at all. He doesn't let anyone into the hotel when he is working if they don't stay there, so don't expect to pull someone and take them back to the hotel - it isn't happening lol. In the daytime it's fine. I would say book here if it's within your budget. Nice clean and friendly hotel situated close to the bars and beaches in San Antonio. Enjoy your holiday.
Don't stay here if you're British
My friend and I stayed here for a week of sun and relaxation in June 2009. We went for the all inclusive option as we were on a budget but wanted a week in the sun close to the clubs and bars etc. Upon arrival Reception staff were far from welcoming and attempted to put us in the tiniest darkest room I’ve ever seen (something like a broom cupboard) despite confirmation that we’d paid for a family studio, more typically reserved for four people in stead of two. After summoning a Manager with limited English, the Receptionist reluctantly moved us to a large bright room with four single beds. It had basic cooking facilities, a decent sized bathroom and a large balcony. The communal areas and pool are clean and well maintained with a football pitch and tennis court, HOWEVER, they refused to loan out the football or tennis equipment to anyone who is not Italian or Spanish! The Italians and Spanish were given orange wrist bands whilst the British are given green! Technically there is a gym but no cardio machines and only limited weights. The food is extremely limited (and I am used to all-inclusive) with grey greasy scrambled egg and dried bread for breakfast and the same three types of pasta for lunch and dinner every day. None of the food is labelled and once it’s gone, it’s gone. Whilst the staff clearly work very hard and long hours, they do not even acknowledge you if you are British (even if you attempt some basic Spanish or Italian). Provided you insist on a decent room, the Hotel is in a great location and was clean and well maintained; however, the distinction between the differing nationalities and the preference given to Italians and / or Spanish wore thin quickly! I would try to find another hotel and only use this if you’re fluent in either language, don’t mind eating elsewhere and just want to relax by the pool without the ‘Animation’ Staff pestering you to join in (they don’t even approach Britons)!
Good value for money...
I am very hard to please and normally only stay at really nice 4-5* hotels so i was dubious when i booked here for me and my sister for a weeks holiday but hey, it was cheap! I was really pleasantly surprised. Very clean, not far from the beach/resort - about a 5 min walk. It was our first time to this resort and we loved it. Would recommend this hotel- but if i was to go back i would go for the arenal which is right on the beach front.
Very Stange!
Myself and my partner stayed for 1week at this Hotel. The Hotel reception was nice, clean and bright, but not very welcoming. We woke up the night porter who had to let us in as the doors were locked we arrived early morning. The guy on the desk spoke very little English, we got handed the keys and that was it. The stairwell was not well light at all and we could not see a thing! very eery feeling...! We could not work the Air Con - as we needed a key but was not oferred this when we checked in! Things got worse, we got stopped on the way in to breakfast , we did not have an arm band we told the girl who could not speak any English we were only Half Borad not Fully Inclusive, she did not understand a word so then became frustrated with us but ended up letting us in regardless, not great at all! The food was basic very basic and not much choice, Everything consisted of Salad, no potatoes, no chips, no veg, no rice!! On our 2nd night there was a Brawl in the Hotel quite scary as this woke us early hours in the morning! the walls are paper thin, you can hear absolutley everything I mean everything even toilets flushing! We woke up to find Blood stains all over the floor &walls the next morning i was teriffied so we quickly complained they said some spanish guys had been brawling! This hotel was full of Spanish/italians who were very loud, there were not many English at all, we saw a couple of young girls and lads. I would not recommend this hotel at especially if your English!
Do Not Stay Here If You Speak English !!!!
Do not stay here if you are an english speaking person as not one of the staff speak english they are all either Italian or Spanish and are very unhelpful indeed. The hotel is full of Italians I only saw a handful of English and Irish tourists and you cannot make any noise after 10pm or they will come and knock on your door and complain (this was the night porter). We were woken every morning at 8am by people playing Ping Pong outside our balcony so if you like to party and stay in bed late this is not the place for you!!! The location is very good though and it is probably more suited to Families than people wanting to Party!!! Tips: Go to Jackie Browns for dinner they are located just down the bay and the food is very resonable and tasty. Go to Calla Bassa beach it is gorgeous !!
Good Hotel with a few downsides
Stayed here for 2 weeks end of June 2008, The hotel on arrival was spotless and our room was ready for us arriving at 11.30am, room was also clean and we had a great view of the pool right next to the pool table. There was always loungers even though the pool was busy, entertainment was good if you were italian as the reps and hotel was italian run. All inc was well worth it even just for the drink, measures were always generous. Food wasn't so good mostly fish and squid rings!!! There were no signs to tell what the food was so it was a case of if it looked OK, also no snacks as advertised when booking. Another downside was the thin walls, it was actually unreal they mite as well have not bothered and just separated the rooms with curtains!! Our 1st week we were next to a rather noisey couple if u know what I mean and the 2nd week we had a new born baby screaming all night. I would go back to the hotel as Food and Sleep are not a big issue when going to Ibiza!!
Loved It!!!!
This hotel was fantastic and great for everyone in my opinion. The staff were incredibly helpful, and provided any assistance we required. Location was fantastic, in a quiet , away from the action and noise of San Antonio but a short walk if we wanted to party. Beach was close to the hotel. Food was good, and catered well for everyone. Menu was varied and always hot. Bat staff were friendly and definately wanted you to get drunk!!! Rooms were clean, as were all other areas of the hotel and pool area. I went with my boyfriend and expected it to be way to lively and noisy but it wasnt. We also had a lovely romantic night of swimming in the pool with candles on all around. Was fantasic. I would reccomend this place to anybody...
Pack your earplugs!
Typical of the accommodation built in Ibiza in the 70s, thin walls and no carpeting. So when you fill it with Italian families and excited, insomniac clubbers, sleep is elusive. But the room is decent size; an okay bathroom with hot water all night; a small fridge and decent bedding (foam mattress though). If you do decide on the boarded rate, we had the half-board (breakfast), which was okay. Not the greatest selection, which did not vary, and the freshness of the cereal was of a concern. Pool area is okay, but built for families with small children. So forget it, walk 20 mins to the beach in San Antonio where the drunk English appear as the sun disappears.
Mixed opinions...
Just got back from a weeks stay all inclusive. Now i have mixed feelings about the place, on arrival the hotel seemed nice and friendly and i have to say extreamly clean and this was carried right through to the room which was of the same standard. Me and my partner came for a mix of sun and clubbing, now the first issue we had was the food...we tried 2 evening meals and 1 breakfast and they were awful. there was no descriptions of the concoctions placed in front of you and it was a "lucky dip" that tasted not good! and so much for the bar snacks....we had a choice of either a biscuit or a ham sandwich! - we ate out every Breakfast/lunch/dinner after that. when we did go out on the 2nd night we had a few drinks and came back to the hotel at 4am to find the doors of the hotel locked! Come on this is Ibiza!!! through the windon i noticed the door to the poolside had been left open so we walked around the back of the hotel and found a gap in the wire fence next to the football pitch and we both had to climb over a wall but under the wire! and managed to get in that way! where do i go nxt...ummmm..... Rooms - nice. but sat on the loo and lent one way found out the toilet wasn't actually stuck to the floor! awesome! oh and the sliding door to the balcony was broken and would not lock.....sorry to say but one other thing, when you took a shower the curtain was the wrong size so flooded the room every time! The place was ful of spanish and only 1 memeber of staff could speak english although i did enjoy my games of pictionary with the staff any time i wanted to discuss something! ha! they got it in the end. But...the air con was free!!! bonus. and although the staff were rubbish they were nice enough and tried. but the venue as a whole was Ridiculous....dont quite know how its a hotel. good job i enjoyed space, pacha, amnesia and the rest of the island wasn't it! what a place! ;o) hope this helps...in short...dont go usless you are really skint and cant afford anything better! ok for just a bed tho.
Not so bad
Me and my girlfriend spent the first week of july 2006 in this hotel. Let's see briefly the strong and weak points (obviously it depends from the point of view...): STRONG: hotel clean, very good hotel just for italian families because of the animation team (just italians) and the simple food (mostly italian also: pasta.....). If you are italian and you have children it's very good to go there because your children will be taken care of.The hotel is pretty close to the center of San Antonio (very nice city) and close (possible to go either with taxi/bus/rent a car) to the nicest beaches of Ibiza. WEAK: If you are unlucky like us, you could get a very little room facing the street and it is very difficult to change it. The food is really not special at all; in fact we ate out a lot of times: I wouldn't go for the "all inclusive" deal!!!! Overall it was not soo bad but, looking at the pictures we were a little bit disappointed.
