I stayed at this hotel for five nights with a couple of friends. On first impressions, the hotel was basic but acceptable. However, I would discourage anyone from booking a holiday here until the on-going security problem is resolved.
On arrival we rented a safety deposit box and put all our valuables in to it. The safes are in a small room adjacent to the reception desk. Our safe key was stolen and all the contents were taken. The reception staff were very unhelpful and took much convincing to even take us to police station.
We were informed first hand by other guests, who had been staying at the hotel for a couple of weeks, that we were not the first victims as it had happened several times whilst they had been staying. The staff and management denied that it had happened before and did not heed our suggestion that the room should be locked and only opened on request to reception staff.
I would strongly recommend you do not book this hotel because:
1. risk of theft of valuables from safety deposit box and room;
2. unhelpful and unfriendly staff;
3. no running water for a continuous period of 28 hours (no assistance offered by hotel even to those with young children);
4. erratic air conditioning in the room;
5. no crockery or cutlery provided in the kitchenette so unable to self cater as intended;
6. dated bathroom fittings and broken toilet seat; and
7. almost all sunloungers were broken.
If you have already booked this hotel, a tip I was given by another guest is to remove the key number from both your safe key and room key so at least if someone takes your key they have less chance of being able to use it. Take copies of all your travel documents and keep these separately. Also, it may sound obvious but do not leave your currency receipt with your holiday money (it is easier to prove your loss to your insurers with a receipt). Do not keep anything showing your address (for example insurance certificate, driving licence) with your passport and bank cards - it is an identity thief's dream come true.

I have recently just got home from Ibiza, I stayed in Club La Serina with a group of friends. Most of the staff on reception can hardly speak any English, although Monica and Lewis are very helpful, and try there best to help. The rooms are lovely, although the bathroom is very small. Over all though, the rooms are fine. The swimming pool is lovely, most of the sun beds have cracks in though - which can be a pain! The pool is really nice though :) One thing that really annoyed me, is the lack of drinks during the day. In the morning, all fizzy drinks, alchohol and water are available, come to dinner time and their is hardly anything left! One day there was only coke and fizzy water! Back home, all I drink is Water so i wasnt impressed. The Security Guard is horrible, just be careful he will walk in to your room!!!! 2 of the nights we were there, the electricity went off! (Leaving us with no A/C) 1 night it was just on and off all night, this was a real pain! Coming in from a night out we couldnt see a thing, which was very dangerous. Also, one of these nights we had no water!!!!!! Many people in the hotel were not impressed with this. When we went down to reception to complain, they just didnt seem bothered and said they know and they are trying to sort it. It didnt get sorted all night! Which meant we went out without having a shower.
A/C costs 10 euros as a deposit and at the end of your stay you will get this money back, so sort A/C out as soon as you arrive.
The hotel is in a very good location, just a walk in to town. Although some nights we did get a taxi, this cost us around 5 euros, so not bad!
Food - If your fussy then you wont be happy, and will easily get sick of chips! Im not fussy, so I was quite happy! Food includes - Fish, Pizza, Chips, Rice, Peas/Sweetcorn, Lots of different pasta, salad not much fruit though at all! The deserts were poor, all week we had the same desert but different colour! No ice cream!
Entertainment was poor too, nothing going on in the day, big stage outside but never got used! :/ Also, the bar shuts at 11.30 at night time!
Bar snacks during the day are poor! All thats available is a cheese and ham butty thats it!

No water or electric for nearly 2 days!!!!

I have just come back from a week’s holiday with 3 friends at this hotel. Where do i start ........... The security man is very strange on 3 occasions he walked into our rooms un invited and at the time we was undressed, when you come in at night he follows you up to the room to check you make no noise! He is mentioned on quite a lot of the reviews but i didn’t expect him to be as weird as he was!!!! We paid for all inclusive but if you are fussy with food this is not a good hotel to stay at we had pasta and chips twice a day for a week as this is all that the hotel supplied, they also have fish most nights. The drinks by the pool were ridiculous they serve you them in the very small polystyrene cups which you literally get 3 mouth fulls out of, you are also only aloud 2 of these at a time! The majority of the time we was there they didn’t have any water and we lived on coke or fanta lemon which aswell they often ran out of! For 2 days of our stay we had no electric which meant no air con and more importantly no water!!! this was awful we had to use baby wipes to wash with for 2 days and our hair was awful from being in the pool!! take dry shampoo for god sake!! They didn’t bother to put any notices on the lift to say about the electrics and a lady and her 2 children got stuck in the lift which was not nice!!! On a good note the pool was nice and was cleaned regularly and the rooms were not bad at all but these were the only good points. wouldn’t stay here again and i wouldn’t be surprised if the hotel goes bust after all the complaints it will have after the week i was there!

I went with my girlfriend and a few friends, first impressions was good but after a week of staying there I thought the food was not very good ended up going out for most of our meals as the food tasted awful! the security guard at night is a right moody sod called the police on me for making noise! pool area was clean but had a sick smell coming from the drains sunloungers most were had bits broken on them, a few times the room wasn't cleaned and no fresh towels, Staff were friendly and helpful apart from the bloke on the night shift, we was all inclusive but had to pay 100 euros for the week for air con which i thought would of been in with the price! the gym had stuff missing from it! most nights the water was cold from the shower and checking out you were given the showers in the gym to get changed which the water was stone cold

Myself and my boyfriend have just come home from a 7 day holiday to San Antonio Bay and we stayed in Hotel Club La Sirena. The whole holiday only came to £250 per person; that's all inclusive and including flights.
- Our first impression was okay, the receptionist spoke good English (Although there are some that are not as good) She was helpful and gave us the key to our room immediatly. The reviews of this hotel weren't good but people tend to over exagerate. When we got into the room it was basic. Two twin beds pushed together, a built in wardrobe, a small chairs and table set, a hob, fridge, balcony and a bathroom. The bathroom had a shower/bath, sink and toilet and was very basic. The rooms were clean and the maids came in everyday with clean towels and to clean your room.
- We were all inclusive so we got 3 meals a day, snacks and drinks for no added cost. The meals were well cooked, well presented but were fairly simple. For breakfast there was sausage, egg, bacon, toast, bread and cereal and hot drinks or juice. For lunch usually consisted of a pasta dish, a fish dish, a beef or pork dish, chips, rice, salad, breads and deserts. Dinner was the same layout but with different selection of dishes. If you pay for all inclusive then all the drinks on display that are behind the bar are free of charge. The drinks that are part of the all inclusive package are local E.G. If you wanted Malibu it would be a substitute that tastes the same. Snacks are behind the bar but there was only; sandwiches, crisps and icecream.
- The hotel as a whole is very clean, maids are spanish but very polite, the tall blonde receptionist is very friendly although some are not. The pool is clean and sunbeds are always availible. There is a pool table, table tennis and table football by the pool.
- The hotel is situated in a backroad which is very quite. To walk to San Antonio Town it takes about ten minutes {take a left outside the hotel, take another left, pass the spa and carry on, go straight across the island and it is a straight walk until you go past the egg.) To get onto the bay it takes about five minutes {take a left outside the hotel, take another left and go past the spa, take a left on the corner by the petrol garage, walk for 1 min and cross over and take a right down any side road and it will bring you onto the bay}
- The attractions in Ibiza weren't what was expected; we walked 40mins along the bay to get to the Aquarium which was meant to be a gorgeous, exotic place and looks nice on the leaflets. We got there, paid 5euro each, walked down 4 steps into a cave type thing. Inside there was a small pool of about 15ft by 15ft full of three type of fish, you walk over a small bridge and come to 3 tanks and in the small tanks there was a star fish, two crabs and a weird sleeping fish. That was it. There is a nice beach past the aquarium called Cala Graccio which was nice. The caves aren't meant to be very interesting either. We went to Vedra on a boat which took 3hours and was terrible; a rock in the sea with a seagull on it. The best part was the hippy that lives in the caves. We'd reccomend going to see the Castle on a Friday between 10am and 5pm as there is a medevil day with a market; was brilliant. The Hippy markets are meant to be great but we could not get to them. Buses are frequent from the bus station in San Antonio.
- Taxi's are quite pricey 26euro from Ibiza airport to san antonio.
The only thing that we really did not like about this hotel was that the walls are very very thin and you can hear everything; but if you do have any complaints the hotel porter or receptionists are usually happy to help.

Myself and 4 other friends stayed at the hotel for 10 nights and were all pretty nervous as it was our first holiday without family and we had booked online.
I wasn't expecting much as the price was very cheap and I did not find many good reviews online.
However, we were all pleasantly surprised. The rooms were pretty simple, but clean, which is the most important thing. Beds were made daily and towels were replaced when needed.
Myself and my boyfriend has a room with a really good view of the pool and San Antonio Bay (and the sunset).
I found the location of the hotel was perfect as it was close enough to the bay that you can have a nice stroll down there, but also far away enough that it is no too busy or loud around the hotel. There is a Spa shop conveniently a few minutes from the hotel which was great for us as we booked self catering.
The hotel's pool was absolutely wonderful and we found ourselves spending a lot of time there! The hotel even has a small gym with a jacuzzi which was good!
All in all this Hotel was great and I would definitely stay there again!

I stayed at La Sirena 1 apartments at the end of June for a week. I could find no fault with them at all. The apartments were cleaned on a daily basis with fresh towels, beds changed twice a week. Friendly service in the bar which at times double up as the reception. No problem there either, again friendly efficient service, english speakers too. Because there were only 30 apartments the feeling of the place was much more friendly that the larger establishments. A great cafeteria below (La Kiki) which again couldn't be faulted. A lovely pool that was never crowded. Across the road was the Es Pouet beach. 20 minute walk along the promenade to San An...plus another 5 to Cafe del Mar etc..as previously pointed out in another review. If you get that far then go just a little further to Calo des Moro beach where you will find a great restaurant called The Kasbah. A very friendly place, overlooking the sea (great sunsets)with chill out area, great background music,great service and food. Give it a go.
Just one other thing I want to add. The photos that are included on the La Sirena page are in actual fact of the Hotel Club La Sirena and some of the negative reviews on here are abviously aimed that that establishment. This is something you need to be aware of when booking as they are two very different types of accomodation. HC La Sirena is aimed at the clubbers and La Sirena 1 the more mature. Enjoy!

Me and 3 of my mates stayed at this hotel last month and loved it !! , for the money we paid we expected a dive really but when we got there it was lovely , we got checked in to the hotel within 5 minutes and the staff were really friendly. The rooms were spotless and cleaners came round every day the only downside was the food was a bit naff but we did go all inclusive so was to be expected was worth it just for the beer :) the pool was massive and clean and i dont think the pictures really do the hotel justice.

It's better than a lot of places I've...

It's better than a lot of places I've stayed on holiday.
The rooms were cleaned and the towels were changed daily.
The view from our room over looked the restaurant opposite and the beach behind it - beautiful! Also, it had a good air conditioning unit to keep us cool.
There's a small-ish pool but as only a maximum of 120 people can stay at the hotel at any one time, it's usually fairly quiet pool-side - especially with the beach so close.
The quality of the food at the Kiki Cafe downstairs was very good - especially if you like sunday roast-type meals! They claim to serve 'the best food on the island'. That's a big claim, but we had no complaints so they might be right! Their afternoon/evening waiter Jon was very helpful and pleasant to talk to too.
The location was ideal for me and my girlfriend. It was a 25 minute walk away from the West End in San Antonio (add another 5 minutes for Cafe Del Mar & Cafe Mambo) so we enjoyed a leisurely walk in and out every night via the new-ish promenade which makes it seem a lot shorter. Close enough to the action without being kept awake by it when you want to sleep.
It's very close to a Spar (just yards to the left of the hotel) and a slightly longer walk to a bigger supermarket to the right. There's even a clothes, fragrance and gift shop below the cafe which is where you have to get the key for your safety deposit box, which I recommend you do. Be aware, it is quite expensive (up to 35 euros for a week and you only get the 10 euro back).
Although the road below can get busy, it's not too bad - especially if you're up on the 3rd floor, like we were.
Overall, if you get a chance to stay here - do!
