The rooms were simple and very basic but clean. I would reccomend taking your own kitchen utensils and cleaning products as you wouldn't want to eat off the plates or use the knifes and forkes. The hotel is in the most perfect area as its right on the beach and if you walk a few km's to the left your on sunset strip which is stunning and to the right beautiful family beaches. Me and my boyfriend went and were both in our early 20's but didn't go for the club scene....but unfortunatley the club scene followed us to the hotel! The nights were horrific! From 1-3 am it was like being in a nightclub with people kicking the doors, fighting, banging on the walls and music blasting out, then you have about an hour where its a bit quiter until about 5-7 am where the hard core clubbers come back and it starts again but much worse! We didnt sleep more than 2 hours a night and the manager couldn't care less. When you left your room in the morning there were naked bodys covered in food and shaving foam in the corridoor everywhere. Saying this though we didnt spend alot of time here so it didn't affect an amazing holiday at all. We didnt eat in the resturant and I would not reccomend full/half or even bed and breakfast board. We went to some amazing places on sunset strip (Villa Mercade's is the best place for food i have ever been to -expensive but well worth it) and we didnt go to the pool area because a) it wasn't great, very noisy, not very clean around the pool plus it ws tiny and b) your litteraly on the beach front. We will definatly go back to ibiza soon although the Costa Mar would't be my first choice i would consider staying there again purely for location and value

Stayed at many apartments/hotels over the years in San Antonio, but the Costamar tops them all.
Ideally placed, with beautiful views of the sunset and a stone throw away from the Sunset bars, the Costamar is a 10 minute walk from the West End.
There is a small man-made beach 2 mins from the apartments, but if you don't like that one then there is the one at San Antonio. The staff at the Costamar are extremely helpful, pleasant, and friendly.
Rooms are basic but roomy enough with very efficient maid service (cleaning every day, with bed change every 2 days - more frequent than most other accommodation wouldn't you say?).
The Costamar also has its own restaurant/bar with sky TV and music , with some of the tables outside to let you enjoy the sunsets.

First things first...if your coming during the season (anytime from end of May until end of September) expect it to be noisy! It's Ibiza after all. People don't come here to nit wooly hats and go to bed at half 7 with a good book :)
Me and my boyfriend stayed here early October so it was starting to get quiet. The hotel its self is nice enough. The room was clean, good sized bathroom and yes we had our own cooker and stuff.
The maids were friendly and came back to tidy if you needed more time to get ready and stuff.
Perrrrfect location! We had some great days walking around, discovering new things. Sunset strip on the left and a gorgeous beach round the corner on the right. You do not need to get taxis anywhere LAZY GITS!!!
Theres a really nice indian in the centre and has a gorgeous italian opposite! ( no i dont like spanish food very much :p)
I would definatly come back here again, food was nice, people were nice and room was what you would expect really :)
All the people poo pooing it need to realise its a lively place, there is gunna be some noise! Thats whats so great about San antonio :) Its always buzzing
