Sunny Village is part of a chain belonging to the Montemar Hotel Group which is split into different accommodation blocks, unfortunately Sunny Village seems to be the poor relation.
The so called bungalow accommodation is nothing like the representation in the brochure, it is in fact very tired and sad and definitely needs a major overhaul.
The furniture has seen better days and the walls are so thin that you can hear every sound from next door.
The complex could be a winner but it definitely needs to get its act in gear particularly regarding the staff in the dining room, who seemed to find it difficult to smile let alone be helpful. They only seemed interested in getting diners in and out as fast as possible and reminded me more of a cafeteria than a restaurant.
Also I would say the complex wasn’t really suitable for people with mobility problems as some of the ramps were in a poor state of repair and the accommodation is spread out over a large area.
When you book in you are given an information sheet with a map of the complex which is supposed to be informative, but for who?
All in all I would advise anyone thinking of booking this accommodation to have a serious think before committing to a holiday here...
