This hotel is down a quiet little road and on the edge of the lake. Plenty of entertainment in the town (5 minute walk).
Hotel has rooms facing the lake (at a premium). Rooms a bit small, but well set out, clean and excellent maid service.
Dining was very good. Breakfast outdoors on the lake's edge was typical continental with cereals, fruit, cheeses, meats, eggs, pastries. Dinner had a hors douvre table each night followed by a starter (pasta, soup, fruit juice) meat main course and a desert or fruit. Good selection of reasonably priced local wines. Pleasant bar with good service. Small heated indoor pool, fitness room and sauna.
Having had many half board holidays, this one stood out for the quality and variety of the food and the glorious location.
