We returned today from our first cruise. We spent 7 days visiting Norway and the fjords. We were a little apprehensive as I am not a good sailor! However, even though we left Southampton in a Force 8 gale, the sailing was very smooth. We also wondered about being 'thrown... more

Soon after boarding in Southampton we discovered the ship was in fact originally destined to be launched as the new Victoria, but Cunard allegedly disliked the design so much that Carnival "dumped" it on the unsuspecting British cruise market? After a 104 day 'ferry ride'... more
