Many, many months ago, my parents and I booked a holiday on the Arcadia Caribbean Cruise over Christmas and New Year from 17th December 2011 to 9th January 2012 (reference J114). We returned home two weeks ago after what can only be described as extremely disappointing... more

My Husband and I have had some great cruises on this ship, we noticed some deterioration on our transatlantic 23 night cruise August 2011. The food was hit and miss, great soups, good deserts, but the main courses were embarrasingly poor. The spa hydrotherapy tank is... more

I am compelled to submit this review as a cautionary tale to all those who have high expectations from a P&O World Cruise particularly on Arcadia. Consider our opinions very carefully before going on this ship. Firstly, shame on you P&O for migrating the iconic name of... more

This was a section of the world cruise in 2010. Thankfully I was on the ship for 14 nights only. It seemed that some people on the ship were fed up and there was little to do on the ship compared to other cruise lines. Food was not good.Internet access and manager awful.... more

Itinerary very good. Excursions very good. Dancers were very good but other than Tony Christie and a couple of others who I have no idea who they were, the entertainment was poor. Sally Sagoe just likes to talk about herself - yawn. The food was often served cold and the... more

We returned today from our first cruise. We spent 7 days visiting Norway and the fjords. We were a little apprehensive as I am not a good sailor! However, even though we left Southampton in a Force 8 gale, the sailing was very smooth. We also wondered about being 'thrown... more

I have just recently returned (2nd June 2010) from a 3 night cruise on Arcadia where we stopped At Zeebrugga and Le Havre. I can only discribe this line as P&O's budget offering. Everything about this ship screams budget holiday. It bears no resemblance to either the... more

Soon after boarding in Southampton we discovered the ship was in fact originally destined to be launched as the new Victoria, but Cunard allegedly disliked the design so much that Carnival "dumped" it on the unsuspecting British cruise market? After a 104 day 'ferry ride'... more
