such friendly staff
from emmylouBedford
we stayed at sunset in july, the staff were so friendly and incredibly hard working, the bbq was so funny especially Galip's dance routine. The turkish lads really know how to move! ! Mustafa was great getting the pool ready by 8 every morning so i could have my early morning swim. The pool is not large but adequate and lovely and clean. The rooms are spacious and kept clean by the extemely hard working ladies. It is in a fairly quiet area but only a short dolmus ride from the main resort. The local third beach is ok but got very busy. It became very hot while we were there, 48C in the shade so needed the air condtioning which is only in one room but it made a difference so did the dousing with the hosepipe from Mustafa. We all had a brilliant time, the lads will do anything to help, even get up fron much needed sleep. Our kids rated it the best holiday they have had. Our thanks to Mustafa, Can, Murat, Galip, Bekir, Bob and Mahir
Fantastic

Stayed at the Sunset Village in late June. Had an absolutely fantastic time. The staff, Can, Murat, Mustafa, Kerem and Galip were brilliant. The owner, Deniz was great too, nothing was too much trouble for any of them, and they made us feel at home straight away. The apartments are large and clean (the cleaners work so hard), and the grounds are kept spotless. The Thursday night BBQ is a must, with all the staff taking part in the entertainment - even the Chef (Galip) and his wooden spoons!! We had the best time, and are looking forward to going back as soon as possible. The location on 3rd beach is perfect, near enough to the resort centre, but far enough away to be quiet and secluded. If you are looking for a relaxed, family holiday this is most definitely the place to go.
The Best Staff Ever

Anyone staying and altinkum must stay at the sunset village it is like one big family the boys murat mustafa kiram and jaan are brilliant with the kids and the adults. Galip the chef is the highlight of the holiday especially his routine at the weekly bbq well worth staying for just to see him dance. denis the manager is always around to help but he just needs to relax a little but he's a nice guy. the housekeepers are lovely to and cant do enough for you cant wait to go back all the kids leaving were having a good cry everyone loved it. see you soon guys and dont work to hard murat try and keep up with the running and dont work to hard.
Most Relaxing Holiday Ever!

Loved the Sunset Village. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The bar and pool area were always clean. A good family environment. Great two bedroom appartment. Go to the 'old Town' for better cheaper food than the resort town. Handy for the Dolmus, although it is a nice walk into the resort...about 15 minutes. The third beach is about 4 minutes walk. Would recommend an excursion with First Choice to one of the historic sites. The guide Mahmut "as you know, by the way" is the best story teller in Altinkum. So good, we're going back again this year!
had a lovely time.....

Stayed at Sunset Village in July 2006. We had a lovely holiday, 2 adults, 3 kids. The staff were excellent, very helpful and great with the kids. The pool area was cleaned regularly and although not the largest of pools there was always plenty of room in and around the pool area. 'The weekly BBQ night is a must'. The kids really enjoyed the free pool table in the bar area. The rooms were basic but clean and large enough for a family of 5. The location of Sunset is excellent. Out of the way for peace and quiet, but close enough to access all the amenities close by. It is only a five minute walk to the beach and restaurants. The local dolmus service is frequent and cheap! If I was to go back to Altinkum I would most definetly stay at Sunset again.
Great time.

Had a great time at Sunset Apartments Sebo, Emre, Res, and Michael were brilliant with the kids and the all round service was fantastic. They could not do enough for you. The rooms were cleaned daily and the maids on the odd occasion left the beds done up with flowers and towel displays. The pool and bar area were always clean. Although out from the main resort there was easy access to the resort. Had our meals at the Marina restaurant (British owned Bob and Jacky, main waiter Jordan) three minute walk from the apartments. The Third beach is also ony a couple of minutes from the apartments. A small shop behind the large Hotel on the left facing towards the sea. Beats having to travel to the main supermarket.

stayed at sunset 5 times going back july 2006 for 3 weeks. the apartments are brilliant 2 bedrooms clean and spacious. the staff have changed over the years but all have been helpfull and a good laugh. theres free pool, big swimming pool.always kept very clean and therse a kids paddling pool.also theres a big garden whith a sand pit in the corner for the kids . barbacue nights are pretty good fun.this is a quiet place away from the noise of town but only 10 or 15 mins walk into town.the 3rd beech is only 200 yards away whith restaraunts and watersports.this is the best beech for kids.there are only 20 rooms here so theres plenty of space around the pool
Sunset is the best!

I went to Sunset Village Apartments late June/early July last year. I can safely see this is the best accomodation in Altinkum. We stayed in Esra the year before, which was nice, but Sunset was a different class. It is only a small place, but this adds to it's appeal. There's plenty of room around the pool for kids and adults alike. The ppl there are the nicest u'll ever meet. Emre, Res, Sebo and Michael are the main workers, but the maids are also very nice. I am still in touch with Emre and we are going back in August this year.
a clean and very friendly complex

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at the sunset village it was brilliant . The apartments are light airy and very clean. The pool area is hosed down every morning and every evening. The staff cannot do enough for you, so kind and very friendly. The owner is always on hand and if there is any problems they would be dealt with straight away ( not that we had any) Im sure, Tuna his wife is there most days and made every body feel very welcome We have been to many places in Europe and value for money this is one of the best . We are planning to go back again in September we enjoyed it so much.

Our first visit to this resort was an excellent experience! The hotel lobby was large and airy with plenty of places to sit and relax. Our apartment was basic but clean, and with sea view, although at a distance. The pool was by far the best feature of the whole stay. The... more
