Hotel Sergios

Myself and my friend went on holidays to Hersonissos in Crete from the 29th August and returned back to the uk on the 5th of September.
We stayed at the Sergios hotel in Hersonissos. It was the worst place we have ever seen and would not recommend anybody to stay there. The accommodation was awful, with no air conditioning as standard in the rooms at night which meant we could not sleep at all because of the heat and were unable to leave our balcony door opened as it would be too dangerous.
The staff at the hotel were not nice at all and were not helpful at all. We did not feel safe there at all. When we came in at night we would be followed to the room by the night porter who was very intimidating. We even had a lamp shone in on us by the night porter one night while sitting out on the balcony. It became very scary. We could not wait to get out of there. We felt it was such a waste of money as we had a terrible holiday.
As we were staying half board, we had our evening meals which were awful. The food was truly horrible. We ended up having to go out to eat every night. I really hope this is brought to the attention of the hotel management so that other holiday makers will not end up in the same situation as we did.
