This was a first time for me and my partner in Turkey and what a great time it was, the staff were fantastic and very accomodating the food was on a par with the restaurants in the town and the rooms were basic but very clean, cool and comfortable they even put flowers on our beds which was very romantic.
I would reccomend this hotel to everybody as it is extremely good value for money and doesnt have a budget feel. i have read quite a few reviews before i went to this hotel and some were extremely inaccurate (i think some brits want britain abroad) fantastic fun for all the family. I will also recomend that the best cocktail bar in Hisaronu is "OH YES" Bar the best value for money and friendly staff.

Just returned from a week long stay at the Monta Verde, my first time in Turkey and ive got to say I loved every minute of it. The rooms are basic but cleaned regularly. The pool is decent and perfect for relaxing around during the day and the staff are about the friendliest ive ever met abroad. On the downside the Jacuzzi isn't free and the fitness centre will amuse you but in that heat you wont miss them. The local areas of Hisaronu & Olu Deniz are minutes away on the local Dolmus which run every 5 mins and wont cost no more than £3 and livelier than I expected but still more suited to couples and families rather than singles. The restaurants are quite cheap but can be hit and miss so take advice from others. Id recommend Bella Vista in Hisaronu, a gorgeous Italian restaurant. Again on a downside soft drinks far more expensive than over here as is imported beer & local beer probably matches UK prices. The Hotel do put on night time entertainment if you dont fancy going out and it varies each night. Another thing id recommend for the men is the barber opposite the hotel. A cut-throat shave and a massage is an experience not to be missed and probably works out at about £5, its really not worth taking razors or head shavers. All in all the place is lovely and the resort is probably Turkeys best kept secret. There isn't a question of will I go back its just a question of when.

The Montaverdi hotel is on the main road between Fetithye and Olu Deniz,in Ovacik,
about 2km from Hissironu. It is very easy to access these by stopping a frequently passing dolmus. The hotel is spotlessly clean, with pleasant smallish rooms, but those facing the road are rather noisy despite double glazing. The pool is a superb feature with plenty of sunbeds, side tables and parasols. Meals can be taken indoors or under tasteful white parasols next to the pool.
I was impressed that bed linen and towels were changed daily. The staff were particularly friendly and worked hard to give young and older guests every attention.
Close by are simple restaurants, bars, small shops for soft drinks, fruit, beach toys etc. A taxi rank is also within 5 minutes walk. For more substantial,varied evening meals, lively bars, endless jewelry and T shirt shops, and a weekly market, Hissironu is the place, but many guests will be glad it is 5-15 minutes away!
In summary- a smallish, simple 3 star hotel that, unlike many hotels around the world, gets the
most important things right. Evening meals could be of higher quality but this is available nearby and look how little you are paying!

Just returned from Ovacik staying at the Monta Verde. After the disapointment of Goldtrail cancelling our holiday to Side. We arrived at Ovacik. We have had a fantastic time the Hotel is very good spoke to the owner who is trying to build up the hotel. Got a guy doing an entertainment programme so trying very hard. The only problem is the bar staff do not look at the age of the clients and play music loudly around the pool for teenagers. But that is minor as we were out most of the time.

We stopped at the Monta Verdi on our honeymoon earlier this year and had a fantastic two weeks. All the staff were polite and would do anything to help, the food was good and the entertainment was excellent; Gadget is very funny!!! The rooms were clean as was the pool and in fact the whole hotel! We will definitely heading back again soon and highly recommend it to others.

Fantastic holiday. All staff friendly and could not do enough for us including reserving us the best table for Turkish night, and tending to my horrendously swollen mozzie bites. We cant wait to go back next year. Hoping same staff with be there. It really made it for us. Well done guys!!
Lots of great restaurants and bars close by. Everyone really friendly. Fethiye market is a must-take a spare suitcase!! Lots to do and see, as long as it is not too hot. We only really ventured out in the evening when it was cooler, opting to stay by the poor and have an afternoon snooze. We love it here. Desperate to come back.

We loved every minute the staff and the villas where great I just cant wait to go back again next year they deserve a medal. I would recommend these apartments to anyone with children who are looking for a cost effective holiday.
They made me and my wife feel like royalty they are lovely caring people who want you to enjoy your holiday.

This was an excellent base for our holiday. Our room was cleaned daily and we always had clean towels. All the staff were so helpful and friendly, the only thing they could improve on was the evenings entertainment. It is a short distance from the nearby town of Hisaronu. There are bars and restaurants nearby as well. Overall this was a great choice of hotel. We booked through Scottravel and were pleased with their service.

The hotel is situated on the main road connecting Fethiye and Olu Deniz. Noise of traffic is horrendous. You take your life in your hands crossing this road.
Sleep is not an option - with the traffic and the rooster that lives nearby. It does not know that it is only supposed to crow early morning - this one crows all day and night.
None of the hotel staff (except the cleaning staff) have a friendly word for you, the are unhelpful and ignorant.
The pool area is very dark at night and when the pool bar is not open you need a torch to go to your rooms opposite the main part of the hotel.
Rooms are VERY basic even for Turkey, only having one socket in many rooms. Air conditioning to be paid for. Safety deposit boxes in main reception £10 per week. Reception staff often leave master key for boxes on the desk! Is that very safe?
Breakfast is Turkish, ok, but if you run out of bread or eggs you will wait until waiting staff are good and ready to get some more!! Evening meals not very good, repetitive, with dessert being an apple or pear every other night!!
Do not take any water, pop, crisps, beer etc into the hotel it will be confiscated!!! Seriously.
The pool is very nice, cleaned regularly, but the area around it is always wet, never dried off and on dark nights, need you ask more!!
Very handy for Dolmus to other resorts, so don’t unpack your suitcase, ask rep to move you straight away!!!! That is if you are mad enough to book it in the first place.

Stayed for two weeks in lovely hotel, very clean and friendly, the staff saw to my every need and was also happy during the trip, the resort offers all types of activities and nightlife yet is not that noisy, I will definitely be going again next year.
Although Onur Air was a pretty dissapointing a cheaper airline. If scared of flying I advise you to look elsewhere
