I stayed at this hotel with my partner and 11 yr old son. wouldnt stay here again, the room was dirty, holes in bed linen, bathroom flooded when shower was turned on, toilet didnt flush properly, door to balcony (if you could call it that as was so small we couldnt all fit on it) didnt lock. Had to pay extra for air conditioning, (£28 for the week), soft drinks at breakfast time if you didnt want tea or coffee, even charged us 3 lira for use of mobile phone to reconfirm our taxi pick to airport.
There was a snooker table (which was free), the pool was nice and clean plenty of sunloungers,
As the hotel was up in the mountains up a steep hill and dirt track it was tireing and very hot walking back up, but saying that you can catch a bus or taxi.
We spent most days going on trips, to hisaronu, or the beach which was great.
Would def go back to turkey but no way to this hotel.

We have be to hotel Babadag for the last two years and will be returning again in 2009
we have met loads of new friends who like us have been coming back to the hotel, some for years .
Tom, Adam and Billy and their families make the hotel what it is.
the food is really good , rooms very clean , pool very clean . but most of all the area is beautiful.

This is a Hotel run by three brothers and their wives, who were extremely helpful and attentive. The hotel is basic but very clean, food was very nice and varied, pool area very clean. The only downside is that it is quite a trek into the village, which is exhausting in the heat, on the way back, a cab is advisable and costs about £3.50, not bad at all.
The area is beatiful and some lovely restaraunts the best being Jasmine Gardens, the food is delicious.
Must recommend the Olu Deniz boat trip, great day out, very relaxing.
Overall had a fab time and are going back in Sept.

Myself and my family have stayed at Hotel Babadag several times. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is excellent and the chef is always more than willing to prepare special requests for you. The rooms are very clean and tidy and are cleaned every day if needed.
All in all a very enjoyable holiday and another one to be enjoyed by all the family again in 2008!!!!!!

Been here three years now, part of the junite crowd.
Food brill. Very cheap. Great crowd of people here and staff are great too. Pity we can’t score it 11.
Due to fly out on day of Glasgow bombing last year and manager and staff could not have been more helpful as we had to extend our stay. See you in 2008.

Hotel Babadag is a really friendly, laid back hotel, the accommodation is very basic, like most Turkish hotels, but was cleaned most days, and had all you need just to sleep and get changed in.
The food at the hotel was reasonably priced, and the Moussaka was delicious and was served aflame, and only cost 12 YTL, local beer was 3.50 YTL & local spirits 7 YTL (large measures) and the bar only closed when the last person left!!
The hotel is situated just outside Hisaronu in Ovacik, about a 15 minute walk into the main town of Hisaronu where most of the bars and restaurants are, although there are bars, restaurants, and shops along the way.
Just at the bottom of the road about 50 meters away, down a quite steep slope, the dolmus (Turkeys mini-buses) could be caught to either Fethiye or Olu Deniz for appx 2.50 YTL (appx £1) and ran about every 5 minutes.
We never had to fight for a sunbed and the pool was cleaned every morning. All in all a delightful little family run hotel.
If you like to walk like we do it is possible to walk to Olu Deniz and takes around 1 1/2 hours along a quite busy road (no path!!) Half way down there is a viewing platform with seats to admire the view and if you have had enough you could always hop on the next available dolmus.

Absolutely fantastic. We have stayed here twice. First time 2001 and then again 2004.
The staff made you feel welcome from the minute you stepped of the coach to the minute you left! They could not do enough for you.
Rooms cleaned every other day. Toilet roll etc supplied. Clean towels every day.
The hotel is fairly small and cosy! Fantastic. The pool is clean and warm. The hotel sits at the bottom of Babadag mountain. Great views!
Staff - Very welcoming, friendly 10/10
Hotel - Clean, friendly 10/10
Food - Lots of variety, great 10/10
Location - short 5 min walk to town, 20 mins to beach. 10/10
We are about to book our 3rd trip here for 2007!
I highly recommend this hotel!

I must say, we absolutely loved this holiday.
As soon as we turned up, the staff came to greet us, and without me asking, took our luggage and showed us to our rooms.
The room was nice and clean with the towels made in beautiful origami shapes on the beds. These were changed every day, along with extra toilet rolls and towels.
The staff were really friendly and always to hand. They always went out of their way to help.
The food was exceptional, always hot and freshly cooked.
We were never fighting people for sunloungers, and the pool was really clean.
The hotel was a nice distance from the bars and restaurants, a lot of good choice. Lots of great stuff to do, we even locally hired a speedboat for a day, FANTASTIC.
I didn’t want to leave this holiday, and would still be there now if I could be. The lovely staff even sent us a Christmas card just gone.
Absolutely fantastic holiday!

The first day I fell ill as the breakfast was not properly cooked. There were not enough sun beds, and as I needed two because i have a little extra baggage. I had to go to the beach every day, which got me very sun burnt.
The staff were very helpful though, as they rubbed after sun into my rolls.
Apart from the food and the lack of sun beds I enjoyed my holiday.
The staff were very cheap

It was a brilliant holiday for the first two nights! Well I thought it was! The area was really un-clean and un-healthy. I was basically sick for the remainder of the holiday due to food poisoning!
I had the traditional Turkish meal 'Special of the day' wish I never had it! I had slight dihoarea and was un-able to move!
Staff were not helpful what so ever! Toilet roll was not supplied, when asked the sheets were not changed! Which was a massive deal since they needed to be changed hourly!
It also came to my attention that the toilet was beginning to be blocked! This didn’t help in any shape or form what so ever!
I’d never recommend this holiday! They ruined my two weeks! The best part was leaving!

went to this hotel a few years ago, it was awesome, the people there look after you, they never close the bar and are willing to make you food anytime you request it,pool is always open and clean, they know lots of people in the nearby town, they fixed us up with trips and a bellydancing/meal evening at a local restaurant for a fraction of the price, yes its up a dirt track,so what, there's a bus stop at the bottom of the road and if the hotel is quiet they are quite happy to drop you into town, basic rooms, showers are good,if you want tv and ritz go somewhere else,if you like 5 star treatment at 2 star prices go here.recommend to anyone.
