We spent 3 days/3 nights at the Meder Resort. We were very pleased. The room was nice, overlooking the mountains, the food was varied and the service was fine.
However, I wouldn't say this is a 5-star hotel by international standards. Probably more like a 4. Still, no major complaints.
Drinks were included. All soft drinks and local alcohol included.
Our only complaint was language related; 95% per cent or so of the hotel's guests (and of Turkey's tourists, it seemed) were German, and the food and tourism is all aimed at Germans.
Not that we'd mind, but it was frustrating that there was no information in the hotel in English, whatsoever. We had to go into Kemer to book a tour.
Location is great; 15 minute walk from town centre and 15 minute walk from the beach.
We were a little disappointed that the pool wasn't active yet, but enjoyed the indoor pool just the same.

We booked for 6 days. We know the location of the Kemer town so we did not bother to go to Antalya (it takes 40min with local buses).
When we got to the hotel room was ready for us but it took 2 days for them to fill the mini bar. We were travelling with our 6 month baby.
We asked to restaurant to prepare a lunch (4 types of boiled vegetables) for our child and they only did it twice. And we have been told that they are busy when only 30% of the hotel is full. Only lobby bar was serving.
The food was not good enough and there was limited choice and nearly same everyday.
If any remains from lunch you have to have them at the dinner and the next day.
Staff was not nice and reception was rude. No toiletries except shampoo.
Hotel architecture is very good; rooms were nice and well heated. Swimming pool & fitness was the only activities I can say.
It is very difficult to say it is 5 stars maybe just the decoration. It should be 3 stars when you look at to the service and food.
There was a live music only once at night.
They say Turkish bath is free, well only the entrance. The main service at the Turkish bath is scrub down and bubble massage but you have to pay for them.
Usually we got it for free in Bodrum resort. Only oil massage should be extra.
Building and decoration is fine but service is terrible.

What a wonderful late summer break I have just had. Imagine 30C in October and so cheap.
We booked flights separate with Goldtrail and then hotel and transfers with a company called Diana Travel. It really worked out much cheaper than a normal package and what a result an excellent hotel.
Clean, well maintained, delicious food, good entertainment team, well stocked all inclusive bar - in fact all you would expect from a 5 star hotel anywhere in the world.
We are hoping to return over Christmas and will do our own package although we are arranging the hotel reservation direct with the hotel having been quoted even better rates.
