Me and my boyfriend have just got back from Turkey and i have NO complaints about the hotel what so ever.
The resort is lovely, lots to see and do for all ages, the hotel is literally across the road from the beach, which is absolutely amazing, with its crystal clear sea. The staff at the hotel were all extremely welcoming and cant give enough praise to the lovely staff in the restaurant/bar. They really did make our holiday special, they were extremely friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble.
Yes the rooms are basic but they were clean and tidy and when there is a beach at your doorstep you dont really spend too much time in the hotel room! The hot water was not an issue for us, there was warm water in the mornings and plenty in the evening after a hot day, we thought it was an excellent idea using solar panels to heat the water and it didnt bother us in the slightest.
Again the pool is only in sun during the afternoon, but with a beach like the Kleopatra across the road it really really isnt an issue!
We would recommend Alanya and this hotel to anyone, we had a brilliant holiday and definately would go back.

Well I have never done a reveiw befor but I feel I must this was a fab hol it is only a walk across the road to the beach and the bars and resturants are everywhere so 10 out of 10 .The staff at the hotel are very friendley Sanem on reception is lovley and very helpfull she will even teach you a little Turkish. Memet who is in charge of the resturant is a lovley man and will cook you a faf beef meal which he cooks himself outside and the flames reach 3feet high muzzy who is the bar man will play any request he has got the lot but if you go pleast request Lilly Alan and say Sue from england told you to request it you are sure to get a laugh. The room was very clean and towels and bedding were changed regularly. the only reason I did not give this hol 10 out of 10 was because I thought the Music was to loud but I think this will change due to people complaining, after saying that it all seems to stop at 12-30 so did not spoil the holliday. After reading some of the other reviews I think the people that gave it 2 or 3 must have stayed somewhere eles because no way did this place deserve shuch low marks we would not hesitate to go back again and again Sue and Col England

I booked this holiday for me and my boyfriend. When we read what other people had written about the hotel we were scared to go. Honestly, i dont see what they had to complain about!! Although, you only get hot water when the suns out as they have solar panels but come on people ever thought about caring about the environment? Also, you are in a different country so its not going to be home! We thought the staff were helpful and the only downside was that the pool doesnt get sun all day, but with the beach just across the road i really didnt bother us too much. We would definitely go back again and i encourage others not to be put off by the negative comments. You get what you pay for its by no means a 5* hotel but its clean, the staff are friendly and the food is normal for Turkey, as an extremely fussy eater im not the best person to disscuss it but i was always able to have breakfast and if we had of been half board we would have been pleased with the food, we ate in the hotel restaurant a couple of the nights.

I was shocked - the hotel was very basic - with awful bed linen and no decent blanket. It was cold at night and the heater only worked now and then.
I was told by First Choice that the hotel was only two years old which it is clearly not.
The staff were ok but you had to ask for everything twice.
I would not go back to the hotel and probably not to Turkey again.
I am fed up of being constantly asked where I come from!! How boring is that - night after night!

My boyfriend and I booked this holiday 2 weeks before the departure date, and having never been to Turkey before, we didn’t know a lot about the resort or the hotel.
As we are only 18, the hotel suited us fine. The room was big enough for us both plus more, and same with the bathroom. It might not have been the best room in the world, but what made our stay enjoyable were the staff. They were extremely friendly, and made us feel very welcome. We were bed and breakfast, but I think we only went once because it was too early in the morning for us. However, the food in the hotel bar/restaurant outside was amazing, we ate there every night.
The facilities again suited us, the pool was small, but it was never really busy either, there were several times when we had the pool to ourselves. Again, as it’s only a small family hotel, we did not expect much.
All in all, this is quite a basic hotel with basic facilities, but an extremely welcoming atmosphere. I would say it suits those looking for a cheap holiday that isn’t hotel based because it’s very close to the beach.
But we enjoyed it thoroughly and are in the process of booking another week at the hotel for July ‘08.

Just returned from holiday in Alanya, resort itself was lovely but hotel left a lot to be desired, first impressions were not very good the night we arrived.
First of all the shower was pouring out water and you could not sleep for it. Carpets were filthy and all stained. Room was badly in need of a coat of paint. Walls were badly marked with flies etc. that had been squashed by people.
No iron in hotel that you could use, so they told us at the reception that we could give them the items and they would send them to their laundry. But items short when we got them back and all we were told was claim your insurance attitude from reception staff was terrible, didn’t find them to be very friendly at all and would not return to this hotel in fact there was a lot of complaints from other people.
Apart from that plenty of bars and restaurants with good food, friendly staff lovely beaches. Would think about going back but not to this hotel.

ive been coming to alanya turkey for 12 years and its been the worst hotel ive stayed in. its very basic and small. needs alot of updating. the fridge was smelling, carpet was stinking and the bed linen was awful!! couldnt sleep most nights because its either to hot or to cold. the noise in the hallways was terrible. i didnt once have a hot shower and it drips out, wat a poor hotel.... i had 2 items of clothing pinched and a bottle of perfume. there was no rep either. food was horrible and most of it was cold. i wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone.
from swansea!!
