Found on Teletext, booked via and paid hard earned money to bookable.co.uk. Had looked for reviews before our travel could not find a jot. However, 3 days after arrival checked the www in Shamrock Bar in Benitses found loads of negative/bad reviews. My wife is awaiting a hip replacement so the 70+ steps from room to pool were a toil, food was cool/cold :-( Ate out in down town Benitses and the myriad of places we found in the hire car.
Have written letters of complaint and request for 100% refund plus compensation for our troubles. Spoke to rep, lodged complaints with her too, I just hope as they are acted upon. Shuttle bus was a wreck and a joke, from hotel to beach at 10:00 back at 13:30, limited all inclusive hours, constant running out of food, pop, etc, all to be met with the well rehearsed Corfiot word "FINNISHED".
Met some lovely folk, made a good time from bad, still had a very bad holiday experience. Only saving grace is that British will not be there any more as we complain TOO MUCH. Told them no not complain too much just do not accept crap, the next client group are the Italians and the Germans!!! 71 rooms max occupancy 210 - 300 people, 37 sun beds around the pool,
plastic chair count to around 100. Hmm fights for towel space next season I guess. DO NOT GO THERE. NOT SUITABLE FOR FOLK WITH MOBILITY PROBLEMS AND DEFO NOT WHEEL CHAIR ACCESSIBLE :-( Measured trip from car park to beach was 1.2 Kms on a very dangerous road, not at all walker friendly.
Part way through the holiday the place was besieged by a coach party of main land Greek Pensioners, they too did not know the meaning of a queue nor manners, if you have seen the David Attenborough film on locust, well it had nothing on this party of guests.
Well enough for now, I hope no one else surfers. Sep – Oct 2007

We stayed at the Hotel Montaniola promoted as 4* hotel but on arrival it looked nothing like it. It was in the middle of nowhere, situated in the hills going down into Benitses (which was about 2km away).
Before booking the holiday we inquired about it being suitable for children which we were told it was but it wasn't. There was no entertainment. You could only get tubs of ice cream (for kids only), no ice lollies.
Meals catered only for the adults and this wasn't enough. You could have to wait up to 10-15 mins to be able to get something to eat. There was no fruit on offer. Desserts were sparse you almost had to fight for it. There were no kids meals, but then it wasn't a child friendly place.
The pool wasn't even opened until between 10.30am -11am, closing at 6pm. Even then we had to force the gates open to get in. All inclusive we booked but we couldn't get more than 1 drink at a time and we had to take our empty glass back to get it filled. It was commented on that we were drinking too much. This was after 4 glasses between 7.30pm and 9pm. After 2 nights we couldn't stand it any more and moved out to a more child friendly place where kids can have fun and so can the adults. Of course we had to pay for it ourselves plus the taxi to get us there. It was totally missold by the Agent.
Never again would we go through these companies. It was hard work getting assistance from them whilst we were at the hotel. This hotel should never have been promoted as an All inclusive hotel. Words can't describe how bad it was. The one good thing about this holiday was when we moved to the Louisa Apartments in Sidari, absolutely fantastic, great place, clean, friendly staff, lots to do. Met some wonderful people here. It made our holiday a much better time.
