L'Aiguille Rouge Hotel Reviews
" We stayed for Xmas 2007. The location... "
Submitted By: Mrs S Williams
We stayed for Xmas 2007. The location is great. Ski in and ski out. The area is fantastic for skiing. The nightlife is ok but we are not clubbers!
The food is great free wine with the meal.
We had 3 in our room. The room is really only suitable for 2 so it was a squeeze.
The staff are great. First choice are fine. The hotel is right next to the cabriolet lift to 1950.
Overall we would return.
The only fault is at times parts of the hotel are cool. Otherwise I can recommend the hotel.

The only bad thing about this hotel is that the restaurant gets a bit chaotic no matter when you arrive for your food it is always busy, be prepaired to get in first for your cuttlery as they never have enough to go round, as well as the French bread it runs out very quickly.
The rooms are very small but clean, if you like a bath then do not be dissapointed as the French only have small baths, tough if you are a large person.
The lifts are very good you can get anywhere try not to go during the school holidays as it gets mobbed, all the children are at ski school which can be a bit of a pain as they are going down the same slope as you...
Plenty of bars, we found this year that is was very expensive we paid 13 Euros for 1 beer 1 vodka & a glass of lemonade in 1950, be prepaired to take a lot of spending money you will need it.
Advice: Excellent skiing very large resort a must for all great skiers.
Activities: Get as far down as possible to 1600 it is lovely and a lot cheaper.
Good for: Ski
