Great hotel in a quiet location

Craxton Wood is several miles outside of Chester, set in a countryside location. The hotel is large, clean and full of good services. The bar has a great, long conservatory attached - with swift and helpful staff. The restaurant menu is not your run of the mill stuff, and the food excellent. My room (a standard double) was clean and comfortable. I didn't make it to the gym, but it looked better than average. All in all, I would recommend this for people not wanting to be right in the middle of Chester.
