we have been staying at the metropol for many years now on our family holiday unfortunatly we could not go for 2009 but are definatly going 2010 lots of my family have stayed at the metropol and all enjoy it very much.OK its not the smartest hotel it also has dodgy lifts but what it has got is friendliness the staff dont treat you like a stranger and go out of there way to help even the taxi rank drivers outside the hotel are helpful in particular the boss goldie who on many occasions has helped us with advice on local people and also has acted as an interpreteur the hotel itself does not charge rip off prices in the bar like many other hotels do and is just yards from a beautiful beach so thats why we stay at the metropol
