Several have huge terraces overlooking the bay and come with self catering facilities - all for E60 per night for the room. Its a mere 5 min gentle stroll down to the beach (bit of a climb back up though) where we happily lazed the week away doing nothing more stressful than having lunch at the corner cafe overlooking the beach - heaven! The people are helpful and friendly and going at the end of the season means temperatures are hot rather than ridiculous.

There are plenty of excellent restaurants and lots of lively nightlife if you want it. All-in-all, something for everyone and since lots of people seemed to be playing "How many years I’ve been coming here", it must be pretty consistent! Lindos is easy to get to from Rhodes airport with plenty of taxis that charge a fixed tariff so no rip-offs. Oh and we’ve been twice now........ :-) <br>
