We found the apartments (not to be confused with the huge complex by the same name) in Lindos old town searching on the internet.
Several have huge terraces overlooking the bay and come with self catering facilities - all for E60 per night for the room. Its a mere 5 min gentle stroll down to the beach (bit of a climb back up though) where we happily lazed the week away doing nothing more stressful than having lunch at the corner cafe overlooking the beach - heaven! The people are helpful and friendly and going at the end of the season means temperatures are hot rather than ridiculous.
There are plenty of excellent restaurants and lots of lively nightlife if you want it. All-in-all, something for everyone and since lots of people seemed to be playing "How many years I’ve been coming here", it must be pretty consistent! Lindos is easy to get to from Rhodes airport with plenty of taxis that charge a fixed tariff so no rip-offs. Oh and we’ve been twice now........ :-)

The studios themselves were exactly as the brochure said. A very short walk to the beach, and a short walk to the restaurants and bars in Pefkos.
However, the brochure did not say that the coach dropped you and your baggage at the top of the hill, and left you to your devices to get the bags there.
The tour guide was very unhelpful, apart from trying to sell car hire and excursions ( no doubt for her cut )
The apartments were basic but clean, and regularly supplied with sheets and towels( the oldest we have seen ).
There was a charge of 50 euros for the use of air conditioning, and 20 euros for the use of a fan!, despite the solar power, which did not provide hot water in the morning.
It was also the only apartments we have ever stayed in that did not supply replacement toilet paper!
