We had a lovely holiday, the staff were all so nice and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. We hope to return next year. When we went to the town (10mins away) we were never hastled to go into restaurants or shops (very refreshing).
All in all a truely lovely holiday.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel last year (2010) for a week and were thrilled. we found it very cheap and was surprised at how nice it was for the money. Food was average, not great but by no means awful. Staff were friendly and did everything we asked, even though they received no tip from us throughout our stay.
Whilst we were there, a young couple from liverpool arrived and attacked the bar staff, they dealt with this in a very professional manner which left me feeling safe.
The pool was clean and the slide is an added bonus. the town centre is a 10min walk away and Olu deniz a short (cheap) bus away. it is every thing you would expect from a bargain beach holiday!
I have read the other reviews from this site and thought the same as you, how can the reviews differ so significantly? all I can say is I went last year in June, met two other couples there and we all left happy!

Stayed here in May 2007. Room consisted of a double bedded room and a sofa bed and kitchenette.
Food was nice but we spent most of our time in Hisaronu which was about a 10/15 minute walk down the hill (or 25 mins in heels). The downside was trying to get back up it on the way home. Pool was OK but a bit smaller than some hotels.
Not bad for the price we paid.

Stayed here in October 2006 for a week. The hotel was supopsed to be AOA but we were told before hand. Was a lovely hotel and only cost us £111 each for hotel, flight and transfers.
The pool looked lovely and had a large waterslide but unfortunately it didn't stop raining whilst we were there so didn't get to try it out.
The staff were brilliant and very helpful. If they didn't have the food we wanted (which was nice) they sent a taxi out for it (and our cigs.lol).
The room was nice, clean and comfortable and also had a bath! Lovely.

We (my husband, myself and my parents) stayed at the Seyir hotel last year. What a joke!
Rooms - Tiny, decaying, dark and noisy.
Food - Horrendous, same food put out meal after meal, day after day. Typical menu: fish heads, fly infested salad, tasteless soup and cold rice.
Drink - Limited by the bar staff, they serve who they want when they want. We were refused drinks at 10pm one evening because we hadn't eaten in the hotel (could they blame us?). Everything tastes extremely watered down, especially the lager (the same lager is served in the town with a completely different taste).
Staff - You can't really blame them for trying but they will do anything to get you to pay for your drinks, from disappearing to simply downright refusing! Bar staff are very quick to bang a bucket in your face expecting a tip though! I won't even go there with the manager!!! Read other reviews! People were actually being threatened by him whilst we were staying.
Goldtrail - Reps are rubbish. Couldn't care less. Would much rather be downing a beer at the bar than helping out disgruntled customers.
They say a holiday is what you make it but please do read these reviews carefully before you book here. We paid All Inclusive prices yet were forced to eat and drink out most nights. Local pubs and restaurants simply laugh when they see your All Inclusive wristband. The hotal is the towns biggest joke. On a plus side there are plenty of other lovely restaurants and bars in Ovacik and Hisaronu.
We weren't the only holiday makers in tears, the entire guest list was. It is awful and no one cares.

Just got back from 1 week staying at the Seyir Village Hotel in Ovacik and what a little gem it is! This was my 8th holiday in the area and I can safely say this was one of the best (and cheapest) hotels I have had the pleasure of staying...
After reading several bad reviews, I was a bit worried as to what I might find on my arrival but having already booked, I had no choice but to go.
I had NOTHING to worry about.
The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from the town centre so well in reach of anything you need but far away enough to enjoy some peace and quiet.
We went all inclusive and glad we did - we were never left hungry and there was everything from ham burgers to traditional Turkish dishes to choose from - all very yummy!
Our room was very clean and well looked after - we were given fresh towels and bedding every day. The room came with air conditioning, a safe, TV, hair dryer etc at no additional cost and also had a bath and shower.
All the staff are very friendly and do as much as they can to make your stay an enjoyable one. From what I understand, the hotel is under new management which is why there has been such a drastic change since the bad reviews I read. I will definitely be returning to the seyir village and will reccommend to everyone!

Arrived in early hours of the morning after a boring journey, but were politley welcomed at the hotel by Hero a waiter there. He even offered us a drink whilst checking in. After much needed sleep, woke up to the bright sun and a beautiful view from our balcony. The pool was lovley with plenty of sunbeds, and a good bar and eating area. Location is very good close to Hisaranu town and the local dolmus stop is very close if you want to explore Fethiye or Olu Deniz. We had such a nice time and all the staff made very welcome, always smiling, very helpful, and work so so hard. It made me sad to hear some customers being rude to them, but they were still polite and worked even harder.
Enjoyed a week here, but its wasn't long enough and will definatley go back this year.

i saved up all year to take my 2 year old son away and i wish id stayed at home. we arrived and theyd put me and another fmily in 1 room. they didnt have a cot for my friends baby. the food was that bad we ate out every night andday. raw chicken, off butter and shells in the scrambled egg. just awful. the rep was too busy flirting with her turkish waiter to bother about us. everyone there complained and some people had to sleep in the lobby as there was no room for them. worst holiday ever. dont go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!we complained and got 60 pound compensation which was no way enough.

We booked to stay at this hotel before reading any of the reviews, this i must say was first mistake. When we arrived we were told that we were to be staying in an attik room this didnt bother my fiance and i and we remained optomistic, little did we know what we were walking into. when we arrived in the room we discovered that it had a sloped ceiling which was only 5ft high at its highest point and 3ft at the other end. the bathroom was the same however it did not have a shower but just a tap hanging in the middle of the wall. the room was dirty and rodent droppings found almost everywhere there was mould in the wardrobe and on most of the walls the air con didnt work and the windows didnt open, all i can say is that this was hell. when i went down to reception to complain and ask to be moved to another room i was ignored at first and then threaened by the manager that if i did not stay in that room then we would be kicked out of the hotel, reluctantly i left it at that and then decided to speak to our rep in the morning. when we finally got to speak to our rep the next day she made it quite clear that she couldnt care less and told us to stop being so picky. after a few dys of the heat in the room i could not stand it any longer and had to pay the £25 that the reception demanded to give us a portable air con unit for our room. the food was disgusting, my fiance and i love turkish food and have never had an complaints before aabout the food in any of our hotels however this was just inedible 4 days out of the 7 we stayed they served salad and fish heads. our belongings were continuously being stolen and the maids only gave us 1 towel per day for the 2 of us. through out this holiday we were insulted by the staff and made to feel threatened if we complained about anything. i would not recomend that anyone goes to this hotel and if they have booked already please cancel and re book with someone else....

I booked a last minuite break at the Seyir Hotel in Turkey not excepting much cause of the £300 All Inclusive price tag I was surprised.
The hotel was clean and staff friendly- However remeber to take your own hair dryer as none are provided !!
The pool area was clean and the bar staff friendly.
Great time very relaxing and the surrounding area loveley.
Food not up to much just typical Turkish menu however there is a great place to eat that has good value in the Chill Out bar round the corner from the hotel. Around 17 lira £7 for a three course steak dinner.
Jeep Safari and other trips can be booked a short walk into town this is much cheaper about £10 cheaper in fact than going with the Rep. Gold trail Rep on site everyday.
Free bus from the hotel at 10:10am every morning to and from the local beach
Would go back
