Just back from Seriy hotel in Turkey. It wouldn't be out of place on the TV programme hotels from hell. The first room we were given was like a dungeon. There was ants running round the floor and the bathroom was very dirty. The second room was too small for three people so we were shown a third room which was ok but ut was stuck up in the attic. Next hassle was the air conditioning. As the room was on two different levels there were two air conditioning machines which both had to be paid for. One of the air conditioners started leaking and wasn't fixed for two days thus the floor of the room was soaked and the dripping kept us up all night. Another thing that kept us awake was the loud music which went on till 3am in the morning.
As the holiday progress we noticed the Police never left the hotel as there were items being stolen from rooms most nights. Was talking to one lady who said that someone was actually trying to get in to her room through the vent in the bathroom while she was in room sleeping. As we were all inclusive we didn't think we would get as much hassle as we did about the drinks. The waiters on a few occasions wouldn't serve the guests as they said there were too many empty glasses on the table. The all inclusive drinks finished at 11pm and if any guest had a extra drink sitting in front of them at this stage they were charged for it.
There seemed to be a problem with the sewage system as any time a toilet was flushed there would be a awful smell on the balcony. Hotel towels were hard as a rock and grey.
Food was ok if you liked chicken and salads as we got this every day for a week for every meal (no joke). Was really shocked one day at the bar when I asked for a vodka and coke. There was only a small amount left in the bottle so the waiter poured this into the glass and then put the bottle to his mouth and licked the dispenser then proceeded to take it of the empty bottle and put it onto the new bottle. Needless to say I didn't take any vodka again.
Goldtail rep Emma was useless. Didn't want to know about any complaints. Any time we approached her she would say she was on her break or she wasn't on duty.

We were'nt expecting the Ritz having only paid £520 for the two of us All Inc AOA. The rooms are basic but cleaned everyday day with fresh towels and bed linen. Food was OK, with a wide selection of salads and meat /fish at each meal time oh and lovely fresh bread! Pool/Bar area was nice and friendly - a very laid back place really and The Rep was there eveyday if you needed to see her.
Yes, we listened to people moaning, but to be honest this only really happened when guests arrived tired after a night flight, after a days chilling out by the pool and a few beers people soon changed there attitude.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week - go open minded, you get what you pay for!
If you want five star accommodation then pay five star prices!!!!!!!

The only thing i cant complain about is the weather and Turkey, everything else was awful the hotel was dirty and the rooms were shabby the cleaners were always very pleasant, but it all needed redecorating the walls were mouldy and damp.
The first rooms we were given were in the roof and you couldnt stand upright in any of the bathrooms we were given 3 rooms when we only booked 2 they wanted my children aged 6 and 13 to sleep in a room on their own, we were moved but my parents were given a room under the hotel which wasnt acceptable they were moved again.
My advice dont book with goldtrail the rep wasnt interested at all, the hotel needs knocking down and rebuilding.
Plenty of nice restaurants would highly recommend Han English Restaurant, Chill out cafe, Codswallop Fish and Chips.
This is not a hotel thats suitable for familys. Book your trips through Evergreen down in the town they are great.
Will go back to turkey but definately NOT to this hotel.

We have just come back from a fabulous holiday at the Seyir hotel! It has an excellent location about 5-10 minute walk to Hisaronu with a couple of restaurants close.
The room was very small and basic but were cleaned daily with fresh towells and bedding.
The staff, particularly at the bar were all very friendly and helpful.
The bar and pool area was lovely.
We enjoyed the food, there was alway a huge selection of salads and cold dishes. The hot food was very tasty as well. I would say there was not much in the way of hot food for vegetarians.
A lot of people at the hotel were complaining but to be honest, I really can't understand why! Everyone had paid under £250 per person for an All Inclusive holiday and seemed to be expecting luxury! The drama when they ran out of milk for 10 minutes at breakfast was un-beleivable! I think these people wanted full English breakfasts and egg and and chips for dinner! If that's what you want from a holiday, go to Benidorm!
It was basic but clean and we had a fantastic holiday, and would definitely go back!

I have just come back from spending a week at the Seyir Hotel in Ovacik. The Hotel rooms are very basic and are cleaned daily with fresh towels also provided daily. The food was good for adults but there isn't a good variety for young children. The location of this hotel is ideal for visiting Fetiye, Ovacik, Hisarinou, and Olu Deniz, however due to its location up a very steep hill may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties. If you stay at the Seyir take advantage of the free bus service daily to Billys Beach which is situated on the lagoon at Olu Deniz. I have rated this hotel 9 out of 10 as I got a last minute deal, so it was well worth the money, however anyone paying the full price may be disappointed. The Goldtrail rep Chantelle was fantastic and would do anything she could to try and sort out any minor problems. The only thing that I can really complain about this hotel is the volume of music into the early hours of the morning.

Stayed at the seyir sept 2007,hotel ok clean and basic most of the staff friendly enough.
Goldtrail though worst operator we have travelled with couldnt find the rep most days
We even had to give a woman holidaymaker new to the country the low down of the place and surrounding areas where to go and what to do and so forth as the rep was no where to be seen. Booked the sunset trip through goldtrail and we didnt get picked up. Watched the sunset from the hotel. Still trying to get my £30 reimbursed keep getting fobbed off by GOLDTRAIL. Book trips through the agents in town cheaper and better.

An amazing hotel. When we first got there it was myself and my two kids both in their teen years so I didn’t think it was appropriate for them to share a bed. I complained and we got moved to a room which over looked the slide, a wonderful place to stay.
Some advise to bring ear plugs, if you dont like Sean Paul, they dont seem to play anything else! Some of the female staff were very polite and helpful and can speak a lot of English.

Well, I wouldn’t book with Goldtrail Again! We got confirmation saying we were staying at Seyir Hotel. We got to Dalaman Airport and they said we were staying in Ruya. We arrived at Ruya and it wasn’t good at all. There was the hotel owners dogs' walking in and out of your rooms, the rooms didn’t smell too good.
Bar staff weren’t too good. We then moved onto Pegasus hotel (we had to pay) because we didn’t want to stay in Ruya hotel. It was really good at Pegasus, everyone really nice and down to earth. We then got in touch with goldtrail and we got moved to Seyir hotel, it was ok but could have been a lot better. Bar Staff weren’t always up for a laugh.
If I went back to Hisaronou I would go to Pegasus! We were there one week and got moved into 3 hotels.

We flew with Onur Air and can say that they were an average airline. The seats didn't appear to be small as has been the case with other airlines, in particular First Choice and the food was okay although the children didn't like it.
We had a night flight and arrived at our resort at 6.30am. The rooms at first sight were a bit of a shock, we weren't expecting them to be quite so small and basic but once we had settled in and unpacked and we had recovered from the flight they were fine. In fact we became very happy, especially as they were cleaned every day and the sheets and towels were changed daily.
We were a group of 4 adults and 6 children who all enjoyed the lovely pool area and especially the slide. It was a shame that this was only switched on 3 times a day but I can imagine that it would get a bit annoying if it was on constantly.
The continental breakfast did become a little boring after the first week but to be honest the holiday was such an excellent price you couldn't really complain.
Whatever you do, don't go to Joseph's beach which is advertised in the hotel lobby. We went there on our second day as the hotel organised a free shuttle bus. Unfortunately, when we got to the beach we realised that it was absolutely tiny and every single sunbed was taken. The guy who runs the shuttle bus service tried to talk us into putting our towels on the sand in various places so that we couldn't sit together. This was not acceptable. It was too hot and there was no shade. We asked if we could sit on the beach next door (Billy's beach) but the guy who organised this wasn't happy so we said we wanted to go back to the hotel. When we said this he said if we ate in his restaurant it would be okay for us to sit on Billy's beach. We obviously felt obliged to eat in his restaurant but wished we hadn't. All of our 10 meals were disgusting. The pizza was probably Tesco Value standard, if not worse. Be very wary of Joseph's beach, if you do go, try and go much earlier in the morning when you may have a chance of getting a sunbed.
The hotel was quite isolated from shops and restaurants but having said that it was situated only approximately 5/10 mins walk down hill to the centre of Hisaronu which had an excellent selection of restaurants, bars and shops. We particularly liked the Almond restaurant on the way down the hill. The staff were really friendly and the pizza was lovely. We didn't enjoy our meal at the Peking Chinese restaurant in Hisaronu. We ordered our meal as two families and the 2nd family order came out 30 mins after the first family order! The Castello restaurant was lovely and we got 10% off the bill.
We had an excellent day out with the Jeep Safari. It was a great laugh and we managed to stay wet the majority of the day. The Saklikent Gorge was breathtaking. We booked with Oscar who is situated in Hisaronu, as I said the Jeep Safari was great but we also booked another trip with Oscar. We wanted to hire a boat totally for us and Oscar promised just that. It would be skippered but we could go wherever we wanted. Well, this was not the case. The boat took us on a trip around the coves on a set route and we did not have any say on where we could go. It took a few hours for us to realise this. Also at the beginning of the trip we had two other passengers on board who had missed their boat and we were giving them a lift. We were very disappointed, especially as this had cost us £100. We would have been better off doing the 12 Island Boat tour at a cost of £5 per person. Having said that, we did enjoy the day out on the boat but this was not what we had paid for. When we complained to Oscar, he said that he could not give us our money back. He was apologetic and offered to pay towards another trip but he was not prepared to give us any money back and we felt that we had been miss sold this boat trip and didn't want to give him any more of our money. So, don't book with OSCAR, he's a con merchant and will obviously say anything to get your money!!
Overall, I would rate this holiday an 8 because the pool area was lovely, the rooms were basic but clean, the hotel was situated in a fairly good place away from any noisy bars and you had easy access by Dolmus to Olu Deniz or Fethiye. Everyone had a great time and weren't ready to go home at the end of the 2 weeks.

Have just returned from a week in the Seyir Hotel and I can honestly say that it will be a holiday experience I will never forget! All for the wrong reasons I can assure you.
The standard of the hotel accommodation was reminiscent of a youth hostel. But most youth hostels would have at least been clean. In our room which was up in the attic, everytime someone flushed a nearby toilet, the smell would waft into our room through the open drain near the toilet. There was a bird nest outside the room and the birds droppings were everywhere over the floor. It was terrible to have to walk past it each time I wanted to go to the room. Our hotel lwas all inclusive but meals were served in a a very basic dining room which wouldn't have looked out of a place in some psychedelic opium den in the Far East. The meals were pretty basic - a very simple breakfast of bread, cheese and eggs - lunch comprised mostly of salad and chicken of the day - dinner was again the remnants of lunch with rice added. The waiters snatched the plates and cups from customers extremely quickly and it was necessary to hold on tight to your plate in order to keep it. One evening I discoverd a huge bluebottle (dead) in my salad. When I showed it to the waiter, he smirked and just threw a napkin over the plate and walked off laughing and showed the other waiters. The waiters were only interested in chatting up female customers and trying to have their way with them. I was asked by one waiter Alex if I liked babies. When I replied yes, he boldly said well then lets try. He was a constant pest throughout the holiday. During the evening when I tried to order drinks for my table beside the bar, I was refused by the bar staff. They claimed that we were drinking too much and wanted proof that we had drunk all the previous drinks before they would allow us to have any more drinks. They also expected us to clear away our own glasses. All of us were extremely surprised by this as we assumed that it was the job of the bar staff to clear away the glasses and not the customers!!!The rep was called Emma and basically hung around the hotel - not for the benefit of the customers but because she was having a relationship with one of the waiters. She drank at the bar every night and was able to receive free drinks throughout the course of the evening whilst for us paying guests the bar stopped serving at 11pm. She sided with the hotel staff everytime customers made complaints about them. Police were more often at the hotel than not as things were being stolen out of rooms.
